As for tracking routes, I use the MapMyFitness line of apps/websites. It has a MapMyWalk. MMRun, MMBike. Joining one gets you all of them. There is a free app for android phones in the market. I have it on iPad as well, so it must be one for iPhones.
Im doing the Virtual 5K as well. So far Im not doing too well time wise. Im 11 weeks into it, and only done 4 weeks of the entries. LOL I have done some 1 mile runs but those dont get logged, so I am still running when I have the time. I will keep going until I finish the 8 week program. LOL
I signed up for a virtual 5k on August 25th through SparkPeople! Hopefully I'll be able to run the complete 5k by then. My goal is under 45 minutes, which is weird because some people can walk that, however I know I'll run slower towards the later end.
Has anyone else done a virtual 5k on this site?
