Great idea, Annevi. I think an important part of the challenge is that it is customizable, so that PxRxSxBx sparkers of all experience/skills/goals can join, but have enough 'in common' that we are all working towards something very similar.

Yes, checking in daily would definitely help. I'm all for a really simple challenge. The more components the less I'm able to keep up. I vote for checking in daily with a goal of at least 90 minutes of exercise a week. But I'm just beginning to work-out so maybe this is too basic for everyone else?

Well, I suppose I can copy/paste the July challenge, and of course we can customize/accomodate as needed.

I think that a *major* component, though, should be checking in DAILY!

I'm up for a challenge! My current plan is to continue what I am already doing plus taking an ultra healthy veggi side dish to where ever I end up for Thanksgiving and filling half my plate up with that. Then I get a small slice of desert.

You can go back in the forum archives and look for the July challenge (it was called Seven and Seven or something like that...) Basically, there were about one week's worth of daily tasks (1 per different one per day) and that re-started each week...

...i'm open to whatever...if you guys can think of 30 *different* tasks, that are attainable for even beginners, please by all means post up. Any idease or brainstoming is welcome.

I've been completely lax on the exercise, so if we could integrate a calories/minutes element, that would be good.

I like the idea of the rotating tasks. Is it the same task every weekday, or is it a different task everyday? (I was AWOL for the last few challenges...)

I'm not quite sure - let's brainstorm!

In the July challenge, we had rotating tasks/assignments for each day. I remember one day was to make something from Spark Recipes and report on it, one day was to wrote a Spark People blog entry, etc.

What do you think would work for this challenge?

I need someone to kick my butt into gear to help me exericse more. I want to do the "turkey trot" 5k on thanksgiving but i can't run more than 2 minutes right now. That's only if I actually go out and try.

Bring it on!! What's the challenge? No pumpkin pie?:)
I need some motivation right now also. With colder weather I don't want to go walk or play outside with my little boys...which is a regular thing when weather is better.

Holidays are approaching, and I imagine that, as the year's gone on, a lot of you (like me) have run into some plateaus or regressed in your eating/workout habits.

Is anyone up for a November challenge? I *really* need some motivation to get back on track with eating right.
