The key to surviving catered meals is to realize you don't have to eat it just because it looks delicious. You choose the healthy choices, you choose proper portion sizes...you can do it!
Use the bikini-plate rule...your plate is a bikini. The top is in two portions, one for meat, one for carbs, the bottom is one BIG portion for veggies. I use this when eating at buffets and stuff, and it really helps me keep myself in line.
OK, I have another thread on this somewhere on here. I got my masters degree a few weeks ago...the whole 9 days before graduation, I was in "residency" on campus where we're there for about 12 hours/day and all the meals were catered. I did *okay* but from then and going forward, I've been going crazy over on my calories and though I managed to get to the gym, I'm not working out as hard.
Someone light a fire under my a$$, please!
Maybe we could have an inter-PRSB challenge or something...
