Ive done really well this week. I made my goal of not gaining anything (again, scale hasnt budged in either way, which is better then up). Man, I dont know when I will ever shead anymore pounds. Gotta keep on trucking though! emoticon I dont believ my Bikram yoga (2x a week 90 minutes each) is doing anything besides ridding stress

Last week I skipped out on weighing in because I thought I didn't lose anything. Well apparently I lost enough, but I did kick my ass this week and ate reallly healthy. I am down 6 pounds in that last two weeks.

It makes me nervous to lose anymore than three pounds a week though. But this feels awesome. I made my February goal! With 5 days left! emoticon

Yesterday I was again at the low end of my calorie range, and had a HUGE dinner! AND last night I was packing for a visit home, and for the heck of it tried on some old jeans (I have, probably, like over 30 pairs that didn't fit, going down from 20 to 14 in size), and several pairs now fit, more were "close" and only a few were "still gonna have to wait several months." What a great feeling!

Today was my weigh-in - I need to mark that I lost a whopping 1/2 pound. (Basically stagnant.) I think that's enough to get me back on track eating right. I hope so anyway. Just had a huge delicious salad with cheese, chicken, bacon bits, all the good stuff, and with desert (nestle cocoa and 100 ca. pack of shortbread cookes), I'll be at 1351 for the day, and I burned 555 at the gym. Hopefully next week will see more progress.

Way to go, Alicejo! I'm also about 1/2-way to 8 lbs., but this week has been awful - actually, I've been up to my old tricks all month and am lucky to have lost anything. I'll be happy if I stay the same (rather than gain!) at my next weigh in!

Well, I'm about halfway to my 8 pounds lost goal. Feeling pretty good about things.

I'm actually really excited to start yoga on Monday. I haven't done any in years, but I remember really liking it. It's a beginning Ashtanga class, which sounds like more of a movement-based power yoga kind of thing. So looking forward to it; I actually WANT Monday to come quickly.

Goalsies:
160 - new handbag
150 - new tattoo, botanical print.
140 - new pants. Nice ones not just cheapies from Target.
130 - Two or three new outfits including shoes. Mmmm...shoes...

Hey everyone. I did not let myself weigh in this week. Too scared because I was snowed in for several days and really didnt get to doing any workout and just drank booze and ate bad food. So, I'm just skipping my weigh in til next week. I was really motivated at the beginning of the break too and then all this snow fell and classes and then gym closed and so did my motivation. :( No good.

Lovanev, I do power yoga for the most part, whether its from the internet, a dvd, or free classes on campus. Sometimes I just sit and meditate too though. I really do love it though, puts me into a great state and prepares for my workouts amazingly.

Babypop, awwwwesome job!

I absolutely LOVE it! It feels great, and I dont mind the heat, the extreme sweating makes me feel like Im working out harder! lol. I go with my aunt so it is fun. And the guys in just the bathing suit shorts is def. a plus- great motivation to go back! lol. What kind of yoga do you do? I have a yoga DVD but I found I barely ever used it because it was too boring to do it alone (for me anyways). It helps to make me to realese soem stress.

oh boy i ate oreos and drank soda on friday, then almost a pound of jelly beans on saturday, and 4 beers on sunday. lol. Sweat yoga again tonight (90 mins.) hope that helps

Hey everyone, today was my first weigh in for the February challenge. Down 2 pounds this week (the goal). I have to really push myself this week cause I want at least another 2 pounds gone til next Friday. Even though my weight is still very high, I never thought I'd see these numbers again.

I'm going to a yogalates class today, I haven't gone in a while because the one I went to before was so hard. But, we'll see.

Ah I'm so damn excited that I'm losing again :) In the dark, cold winter months no less :) At school surrounded by endless temptations of booze, desserts, fried foods, and laziness :)

I ended up using the at home treadmill for a 50 min walk and 30 run. Reading on the treadmill is great time flies by! Reading my British gossip magazines also helped to make me feel better. lol.

Yea no jeans, no hats or big chains (the bling bling) at the gym. which i guess is a good thing

I had the WORST luck today, everything went wrong. I gave up and went to the gym to burn some stress, when I got to the locker room, I find a long sleeve shirt in my gym bag instead of gym shorts!!!! Now I cant workout (only had jeans and they arent allowed). Worst f@$*ing end to an already terrible day!

My goals for February are:

Drink more water. I'm still a little shy of 8 glasses a day. Some days I drink all 8, but other I barely get 3-4.

Stretch daily. I started getting up 15 minutes earlier to make time in the morning to stretch.

Plan meals/snacks. I'm less likely to eat bad foods when all of my meals are planned for the day.

BABYPOP--sorry i never answered your question!! I have been 130-140 all my life. I was 160 for 2 months last year and then down to 150 for like 6 months (weight due to major stress). Now im back to my average size. but i need a LOT of toning.

I was reading yesterday and decided, "hey why dont i walk on the treadmill while i do this instead" I didnt burn much Im sure, but it kept me warm (freezing in NH!!)

okay so my one month weigh in is tommorow and i am one pound away from what they wanted me to loose this two weeks. 5 pounds.. i am hoping to eat well today go to the gym and go and weigh in before lunch tommorow LOL.. even if i get the five which will be 17 pounds pounds this month and i am going to be happy about it. i really wanted to get to 20..buuut.. i cant get bummed :)

I am amending my February mini-goal, seeing as how I f-cked things up so royally in January.

Therefore, I will NOT feel comfortable moving past FastBreak.

I will try to lose 6-8 lbs. throughout February by eating within my calorie range and making sure to get enough fruit, veggies, and water. I will workout cardio 2x/week for 30 minutes and 1x/week for 45 minutes. This is only a slight increase, but at least it is sustainable.

More importantly, I will quit living life that I am a 20-year-old consequences (or like I'm in an after school special!) I am closer to 30 than 20 and I need to start acting like it. Therefore, throughout the month of February, I won't drink. Since I rarely drink any more, anyway, it shouldn't be that hard - and when I do drink, I go overboard, so probably best to avoid it all together.

So there's February! I hope I can do it!

hmmm, i think my goals for this month are definitely drinking tons more water and watching my intake of food... its hard living in a house with 5 other people who can eat junk food all day and not gain a pound... but thats why its a goal, right?

For February, I am going to lose 6-8 lbs. by keeping track of my water and caloric intake, eating healthfully, and continuing to go to the gym 3x a week for 30 min/session.

This is essentially the same as January, so I do want to step it up a notch - by moving from Fastbreak to the 2nd stage of the SP plan. I am not sure what this will entail - I don't want to do too much too soon but I do want to set a small goal in addition to carrying on what I did from January.
