i will skip a workout and sometimes will make it up later in the week if i feel like crap or am sick....i try not to do it too much cause then i will form a habit and the "I dont feel good" excuse starts to win....but all in all, if you are good 98% of the time and you dont do it every other week then a day off is oaky....tell hubby to chill...
Adventure isn't hanging on a rope off the side of a mountain. Adventure is an attitude that we must apply to the day to day obstacles of life--facing new challenges, seizing new opportunities, testing our resources against the unknown and our own unique potential.-----John Amatt
You can go 1 day without any noticeable loss; going 2 days or more allows you metabolism to slow back down and your fat cells to increase in size. Skipping a day is OK, and you should take at least one day off each week (for cardio) to let your body recover. For strength training if your muscles are sore you should skip that muscle group until you fell little or no soreness; sore muscles mean the tears you created have not healed yet, and tearing muscle that is already torn is never a good idea. Hope that helps.
On Monday I didn't feel like working out. I wasn't really feeling well, so I skipped my Cardio work out. But Tuesday I did work out. I was talking to my Hubby and he said " YOU NEED TO BE DISCIPLINE AND NOT SKIP A WORKOUT" But I was planing on working out an extra day this week to make it up. But my Hubby said" YOU SHOULDN'T DO THAT"
So I was Wondering, if you don't feel well do you still work out or do you do it on another day to make up?
