Nearly everything that produces pollen -- trees, grass, flowers, plants... as a result, I'm allergic to a lot of the things that come from these things. Citrus, melon, banana, apple, cherry, tree nuts.

The biggest allergy is the seafood one though. I'm allergic to fresh and saltwater fish and all types of crustaceans and mollusks to the point that I can't be near someone when they're eating it. I can even have a topical reaction to seaweed.

I also can't deal with soy processed as dairy, but I'm ok with soy meat.

Everything outdoors, anything with fur that produces dander and sheds, dust, and cockroaches, yes they tested me for cockroaches, LOL.

Where do I start? Here's the list:
Turkey
Tuna-all kinds
Chamomile
Cheddar Cheese
Sunflower Seeds, Oil
Jerusalem Artichoke

Chemical Allergies - perfumes, air freshers, and baby powder

Food Intolerance to:
Gluten
Eggs
Fried foods

Sensitive to:
Pollen - ANY kind
Adhesive Tape (bandaids and such)

Never thought I would run across a Jerusalem Artichoke, but I was at WM a couple of weeks ago with the kids and started to buy a fruit/veg drink and turned it over to read the label. It had listed the Jerusalem Artichokes on it! I couldn't believe it! I did find one other place that had it in a product. The company that I use to order my vitamins from uses it as a base ingredient in the Multi Vit. Wow! I guess that sums it all up.

I am allergic to pollens, cotton trees, lilac bushes, many clothing such as nylon, polyester, wool, and synthetics: I am also allergic to milk, bananas, and strawberries. I am allergic to cat dander but will not give up my two cats. they do not bother me if I keep them away from my face. Right now the pollen count is high in Utah, and all week long...my eyes are watery, they look like I have been crying. My nose is a bit stuffed up...does anyone know a good antihistamine that is safe to take with antidepressants, anti-anxiety, and Ritalin?

DEELANTIA, I haven't had problems with supplements. I had a reaction to an artificial sweetener that was in a generic Tylenol that my bf bought me. I don't like taking artificial sweeteners any ways, but he uses some of them. I know I can take regular Tylenol with no problems at all. And the only difference to this Tylenol was they added an artificial sweetener. And that was the only new thing that I started taking that I had never taken before. So I am sure that is what gave me the hives. The sweeteners name is "acesulfame potassium" I looked it up and it has "sulfur" in it and I am allergic to Sulfa's and sulfur, so I am sure that is what did it.

Hi
You mentioned having problems with supplements there are two things that maybe in them that can cause problems. One is soy lecithin if you are allergic to soy it is usually the protein but some people are very sensitive so the lecithin can cause a reaction. The other source of your problem maybe talc. This one is a common allergen and can be found in vitamins, powers and makeup among other things. There are probably allot more things that it could be but these are the only two I know about.

Hi everyone, I am allergic to lots of stuff: pollen, dust, grasses, weeds, trees, animal dander, and more. I have asthma, hay fever, lots of sinus problems and really sensitive skin.

Last week I was having a lot of sinus problems and just thought it was the weather going back and forth and pollen, but now I think it was another allergic problem. The bf picked me up some generic Tylenol with "cool" taste for my side pain. I didn't think to look at what that "Cool" taste was before, but broke out in hives on my back last night, and sinus problems this week leading up to a sinus infection this weekend. So I was trying to think of what was new to me and it was just milk that I added to my diet and these pills. Milk can give me mucus, but I only had 2 glasses of it one day. And it never has done anything like this before. So I checked the "Cool" out and turns out it has Sulfur in it and I am allergic to Sulfur and Sulfa medicines, so that is probably what happened. So I have stopped taking it and went back to my IB pills for now.

I hope everyone is doing okay.

Serious allergy is iodine. I cannot eat shell fish because of it. I am also allergic to just about anything that grows; plants, flowers, pine trees, grass especially. The spring growing season gives me fits. I live in LV so it is mostly dry but when we get rain, watch out.

Food wise, I cannot eat fresh peaches or fresh pineapple. It causes my tongue and lips to swell and I look like a puffer fish, LOL. No veggie allergies though.

Over-perfumed people give me fits. Literally. I start sneezing and cannot stop until I get away from them. Believe it or not, I am allergic to most makeup. I have not worn makeup in over 40 years. I do have great skin though.

I am allergic to certain pollen types, mostly floral not trees or grasses, sucks cause i love flowers and would love to have a garden but um no not going to happen. pet dander which i do deal with cause its not as sever as some others i have and i love animals. oh and medically penicillin, food wise not much, turnip greens, spinach and those types of veggies give me a mild rash. I have to be careful with soaps and shampoos not completely sure if its the floral things they add in but they will break me out as well

doing it mommy style

Some days, it feels as if I am allergic to life! I haven't found any thing in particular that causes my itchy, watery eyes and runny nose. Some days it's nothing, other days everything. I have noticed a dramatic increase in symptoms since Hurricane Ivan in 2004.

Golden rod is high and the sap of a Norway pine. Also allergic to dust, flour dust, several pollens(my eyes are itchy now), mold and others I cannot remember. Not allergic to medicine, but 2 meds work the opposite effect they are supposed to have.

I'm really allergic to rabbits (especially their fur). I found this out the hard way when I started raising and breeding rabbits for shows. I become a sneezing snot monster and my eyes start to swell to the point that people wonder if I got punched or something. This is only with rabbit fur, though; dog and cat fur cooperate perfectly fine with me, so I wonder what makes rabbits so special. :(
I've tried allergy medicine and masks (combined, even), but they haven't worked very well. I'm still trying to find a way to stop the symptoms because I truly do love showing rabbits, but I feel terrible when I'm around them.

Also, I have a weird reaction to mice. I get (lots of small) hives wherever a mouse has touched my skin. Again, this was found out the hard way when we bought pet mice.

I am allergic to cats, which I found out by pet sitting for a neighbor. I also have a pollen allergy that I suffer from every spring, but this year I have been suffering from another allergy at this time. I have no clue to what it is but my allergies normally do not affect my eye, with the exception of the cats. My eyes have hurt to touch and were swollen until I took some allergy medication.

OK - here goes:
- Pork, all citrus, eggs, coconut, fish, bananas, MSG, aspartame,
- scents, Tide (and most other laundry soap - can only use die & scent free), aloe, penicillin, ASA, mold, pollen,
- just realized I have a gluten intolerance as well...

I break out in hives for some, get wicked migraines with others, rashes and uncontrollable sneezing...

Hi guys!

Let's see if I can remember everything. Here goes:
Sulfa/Septra, fire ants, raw fruits and veggies (cantaloupe, honeydew, walnuts, carrots, bananas; sometimes avocados, cucumber, tomatoes, apples, etc.), horses, dogs (rash), CATS (omg, CATS), ragweed, birch, grass, dust, cigarette smoke... I think that's it. That's all I can think of right now, anyway. Not as bad as some people, I guess.

Hello all. I am allergic to most floral pollen, ragweed, bananas, latex, mango, cantaloupe, and many chemical scents. I also break out in sores when I use Tide laundry detergent and Clorox 2 liquid non chlorine bleach. Ironically, I can used Clorox 2 powder. I have started making my own laundry soap and several household cleaners to eliminate allergen exposure. So far so good. I have been able to use all the homemade cleaners I have made and most are more environmentally friendly and pet friendly!!! I would be happy to post links to the cleaners if anyone is interested.

Years ago I had an allergy test, they have 2 types that they do. One is where they take samples of common allergens & swab your back with them. the ones that react are what you are allergic to. I had the other kind. they take your blood & put it in petry dishes with allergens This one is more accurate I believe because they were able to tell me what I was allergic to & what level of allergy I have. I have a level 2 allergy to American Elm trees & a level 4 allergy to dust, dust mites & dust dander. You might ask your Dr about allergy testing & see what the Dr thinks is best

I'm apparently very allergic to red cedar pollen. The pollen from the red cedar trees has been in the extremely high category since Sunday and I've had red, watery, itchy swollen eyes. No contacts for me until today. The count came down a notch and will hopefully be gone with the rain coming in on Saturday.

I am allergic to eggs and having a hard time finding things to replace them in recipes. Yes I know that I can use applesauce in a lot of things. Although I will say this, it sure helps keep my portions down from anything cooked with eggs. I developed this allergy as an adult, also have cravings for eggs a lot.... emoticon

yes, I didnt have allergies as a child. I had alot of sinus issues & sinus infections as a teen, But no one ever told me about allergies until I moved to Arkansas. I then got tested & found out about the allergies & that I had allergy related asthma. The Dr did say that I prolly developed allergies in my teens (hormone change). But after I had kids they turned into a major issue. He did also say taht the move to the south made the allergies kick into high gear. So I asked him, "so your saying that if i didnt have kids or move away from home then I wouldnt be in the state i am in?". Without a second thought he said, "No, I am saying, Welcome to Arkansas!" LOL

My worst allergic reaction is to dust mites, and they're everywhere! I'm also allergic to pretty much anything that grows out/inside and is green. Strictly indoors - I'm allergic to cats and tomatoes. The cat allergy isn't so much of an issue, but I love tomatoes. I've also got a long list of food intolerances - gluten and dairy (casein) being the worst. Some of my allergies didn't become a problem until later in life - anyone else have that happen?

I'm allergic to cats and dogs (of which I have both :P). Most trees and grass' in my area, pollen and cigarette smoke.

My worst are the cats and dogs though, I work with animals a lot and am always sneezing.

I have a severe allergy to tree nuts, particularly walnuts and pecans. So I have an Epi-Pen with me 24/7. I have only had to inject myself twice and neither time was from directly eating nuts, but baked goods prepared in the same kitchen as those with nuts. My other allerigies that are not life threatening but can cause hives and breathing problems are strawberries, raspberries,(most fruit really) cats, mold, pollen, trees, grass, fleas, mushrooms, wasps, bees, poison sumac (but oddly I can roll in poison ivy and never get an itch) ragweed, marijuana (it is the same family of ragweed) dust, silicone and I'm sure I am forgetting dozens of things but I think you get the idea.

If you are allergic to suppliments you may be allergic to yeast. I forgot about being allergic to tobacco smoke - especially cigar - causes strange reaction - I get mean - just want to rip the thing out of their mouth.

I thought my allergies were severe until I read these posts! I'm allergic to wheat and cigarette smoke. The wheat causes hives and the cigarette smoke causes asthma. Most supplements will cause me trouble, not sure what is in them that causes the trouble.

Food allergies are wheat, apples, beet sugar, coffee, pork, (rare but severe - causes personality change - become mean) corn soft cheese like brie (because of pennicillin mold) Penicillin, (even the kissing cousin that only 10% of the population is allergic to) dust, local freezing if it contains ephinephrine (ironic since I carry a ephi pen incase I get pennicillin which would kill me) and vit b12 (makes me go to sleep - effects 1% population) I also have reaction to north winds which cause pain and disorientation.
