When I was taking college classes, I packed my lunch and two snacks for the day. If I had to go grocery shopping or anything else after school, I packed something for dinner too. It was the only way I could be assured of staying within my calorie range.

If it's just around town running errands and I know we'll run into a hungry time, then I'll bring something to eat like nuts or fruit.
But if it's traveling, then I'll swing into a grocery store to get fruit to eat. On rare occasions I may get some Sun Chips. On the way home from my last trip I grabbed strawberries and pumpkin seeds.

I like to stop at a grocery store and grab a deli wrap, yogurt, piece of fruit or protein bar. :) Not that I get out much anymore! LOL

I like to get the Wendy's chili or the half sized Baja salad for a main dish. The Ceasar side salad is also addicting!
