I'm very old school and like doing a lot of calisthenics. Otherwise, my exercise is accomplishing other things, like yard work. LOL I truly do not like exercising for the sake of exercising. I think I may have exercise ADD or would that be ADHD? I like killing two birds with one stone so to speak. emoticon
Even while I'm on the computer I will do butt clenches to work my muscles Not all the time of course, but if I'm feeling flabby or haven't worked that area in awhile.

OT: I'm taking my ds out to lunch today and I'm ordering the salmon and broccoli and rice pilaf. I'm so excited. I've been craving salmon all month.

yesterday was core and legs. 30 min.
Today was overall body with more yard work. 1.5hrs.

I went for a swim yesterday and did strength exercises in the pool. I also went out of the house for the first time without crutches. And I'll be attending church today without crutches. I plan to hit the track at the park tomorrow and see how many laps I can do in this boot cast.

I did yard work yesterday. I lost track of time, so I'm not sure if it was two or three hours, but I was dog tired afterwards and my back was sore, so I know I got some good core workout in. =)

Two hours of mowing. Ahhh! I finally got it done.

Has anyone had the minute tracker go funny on you lately? If I do more than two hours of cardio plus strength training, it only gives me 120 minutes max. This may have always been, but I don't remember it doing that before.

I got one mile in and another 45 minutes of mowing. Plus some strength training....my dear son wants me "training" for our bocci tournament we have each year at our church picnic. He chose me as his partner, but told me to work on my arms. LOL! Yes, it's my husband's side that the athletes come from, not mine. LOL!

Good for you, two! Volleyball and mowing are both enjoyable.

Fell off the wagon on vacation, and haven't started back. Did half the 3 mi 2 days ago, but have been on the run since. My aunt and uncle are coming over tomorrow and will be staying with us for a while. Maybe she wants to walk. :) I know I've gotta get started...

Picnic/volleyball sounds fun.
I mowed @ 7:00 tonight, for about 30 minutes. Our heat index was about 95 today. The rest of my cardio was outside cleaning jobs earlier in the day. ST also done.

August 8th= National Sneak Some Zucchini on your Neighbor's Porch Day......
I did not make that up!

LOL! My husband always hates fighting with balancing the chemicals, but he says it's SO worth it! :)

MMMMMMM........ you planted some of my favorites. Watch out you willl probably have enough zucchini to eat till Christmas. Get ready to bake some bread and freeze. Also, you might have to celebrate August 8th.............??????

Also, we too have a pool for the first time this year. Right now it is this strange bluish-green color. I have poured in so many chemicals. I feel like it is one big lab experiment that would probably earn me a C- in high school. Oh well, my boys jumped in yesterday and didn't seem to care.
I am thinking some pool cardio this summer would be a nice change. I did some water aerobic classes years ago, maybe I can remember some of the moves.

Have fun with the garden and enjoy!

Just a little bit this year My first real garden. (We never had enough room for one before.)

I planted canteloupe, zucchini, and green beans from seeds and they are looking great. Then my DH bought tomato and green pepper plants that I just planted last week. So far, so good. The gentleman that owned this property before us took AWESOME care of this yard. We're clearing on area for a pool right now and measure 14" of top soil. I'm very thankful that it's such good quality. :)

More ST and 3 hours of push mowing. Boy, our yard is big. I shooed my oldest son away from part of the back yard so I could use the push mower instead of him using the riding mower. Yard looks great and I got some sun, too!

Aren't hormones some crazy things!!!! Mine haven't been back on track since I had my youngest. I did much better while I was eithe pregnant or nursing, but I'm done now, so what to do?????

I did four miles yesterday while my daughter was warming up for a softball game and today I was able to push mow the yard for a little over an hour before a brief but very wet storm came through. Hope it dries by this evening, then I'll get another hour or so in. :)

Bootcamp just isn't happening this month for me. My schedule is so busy that I'm doing my ST while I brush my teeth or washing dishes or ironing just to get it in. But thankfully my eating isn't out of control with how busy we've been. :)

Good for you MOMWANNABSLIM! Way to stick with it! I really and truly am HAPPY for you. You deserve that trophy!!! You've totally earned it!

Woohoo on keeping up with the bootcamp and other exercise! Great job! I kind of fizzled on the bootcamp this time when the hormones hit. Can't believe how up and down I've been the last few months. It will be great to be the calm me again one of these days. lol
