Thanks!

Can't get off subject; this is the general discussion forum. That's the beauty of it!

I just discovered that I have some new health issues that make strict McDougalling close to a life-and-death choice for me. (Of course, that's also why I've had no energy or interest in cooking well, but....) I intend to be much more involved in making this forum what I originally envisioned.

Thanks for the support!

Flo

hey flo! thanks for reorganizing! now i can find what i'm looking for quickly. i've been fooling around more seriously with a vegetarian diet, and looking towards a vegan diet. my kids drink only soy milk, so veganism only makes sense to me. it's a process though, because my husband is a die-hard meat-eater. but a pound of beans is cheaper than a pound of beef, so guess what we're eating more of! haha! sorry if i got off subject here. i do like the organization though. hope to have some lively chats on here!

I've created a Food! forum for recipes, Go To meals, menus, etc.

I've created a How and Why? forum that I see containing descriptions / discussions of various programs, research on the subject of whole foods and health, potential benefits, etc.

What's left for (this) general discussion forum?

One thing that comes to mind is venting: when someone is being argumentative, or contentious, or derisive, or just plain stupid, and you have to tell someone to avoid saying something you'll regret.

In a similar vein, perhaps discussion of how we maintain a whole foods lifestyle in a fast food world, how we handle the transition with kids and others who are used to something else, how we address the legitimate concerns of those who love us and don't understand.

We'll find something to talk about.

Flo
