I've been a vegetarian since I was a teenager; I'm 30 now. I haven't always been in the best shape, but I've never been overweight or had any serious health issues and I know that my vegetarianism has been a major factor in that.
I aspire to veganism, but I still eat eggs, cheese, yogurt, sour cream and cottage cheese. Milk was easy to cut out since there are so many better-tasting alternatives and once I stopped drinking it, it really started to seem gross.
