I've been really bad about planning my meals ahead of time. I know that I'll be having a big salad of Power Greens, and either hot or cold cereal. I haven't had beans in a while, so I might make up some kidney bean spread.

One of the permanent threads I plan is, "But What DO You Eat?" for exactly this kind of discussion.

What does your personal menu look like today?

I've still got a big pot of veggie soup in the fridge, and some beans, so that will be my lunch. Dinner in probably a meal salad, and will have some kind of grain next to it, maybe polenta. I have a well-stocked pantry, so I'm not concerned about my dinner options right now.
However, I thought that discussing our daily menu(s) might be a good starting point for deeper conversations about why we make those choices, or shallower conversations about recipes.

I saw this idea on another thread...in order to keep the intro thread focus on intro's, so that new members can learn about the others, they have threads for general conversation. "Chatter" doesn't really convey what I want, but, I'm working on it.
