Hi!! I love cabbage and I've cooked 3 different recipes in the last couple of weeks. One was a soup, 1/2 Head green cabbage-shredded with lots of sweet onions in big slices and two leeks with some green, 2 carrots shredded and 2 parsnips chunked, 4 minced cloves of garlic, 2 vine ripe tomatoes(peels removed), 1 hot red chili pepper put in whole and removed before eating, bay leaves, fresh parsley(lots), and 1 1/2 c of white navy beans-precooked. I simmer all these ingrediants in my homemade veggie stock, about 6-7 c. No salt an with the chili pepper, you don't need black pepper! I made this up. All my soup recipes are my own concoctions!! It's how I get creative.
