groovy as I can attest to the fact. I've never wanted an instant fix for anything... when I quit smoking, I spent a year convincing myself and a year to practice and I'm proud to say I stayed a quitter for almost 10 years. When you do something slowly and deliberately it works better!

I have been changing slowly as well. It supposedly takes 3 weeks to form a habit, so I take 3 weeks between changing things. It makes it really slow but I seem to be sticking with the changes this time.

ONLY replace or make one change at a time. If you overwhelm yourself or deprive yourself that is exactly the result you will achieve. All of these lists should be helpful and there is a book called becoming vegetarian. Yes there are varying degrees of vegetarianism. But the best vegetarian is one that is aware of nutrition, especially protein levels and sugars. I have met many many many very unhealthy vegetarians! Good luck!

I have been desiring to be vegan for a few years, but I will admit that it isn't something I thought I could seriously pursuit and achieve. I know they are various types, but I am seeking to improve my overall health. I want to lose weight but not feel so deprived while I attempting to do it. Please advise. I am willing but struggling with the transition. Thanks!
