I try to eat as much whole as possible, but realistically, I really just try to make the best choices available. The more whole I eat the better I feel, but I no longer beat myself up for not doing as well as I think everyone else is probably doing -- LOL. AND if I'm really wanting a non-whole food (a treat or something) I will have it and not feel guilty about it (unless I've been letting myself have too much recently anyway -- LOL)

Gotta do what feels best for you -- hang in there and good luck

Littleonejade;

Just do one day at a time. If you do one day three times in a row - GREAT. But you can only control the NOW of anything.

Eating whole foods only isn't difficult, but it does take planning. I try to eat the same foods all the time so I don't have to rely on last minute trips to the store. Yogurt with whole grain cereal and fruit, salads with lots of fresh, locally grown greenery, fresh fish with potatoes, whole grain pasta or brown rice, homemade whole grain bread, etc. I get into trouble when I don't have a menu... so easy to grab a frozen dinner or store made item. I prefer to eat whole foods.

Well speaking for me only, I'd love to live in a perfect world where I only ate whole organic food and for the most part I do, except when I'm being perfectly Imperfect!

The more whole foods I eat the better I feel, the lighter I feel. My body feels like it is functioning properly. I do have days that I only eat whole foods. That said, there are also days that I eat other than whole foods. If I eat too many processed or "heavy" foods, I just don't feel as well. I feel tired and "blah." Don't look at is as trying to be perfect, rather just strive to be "better" one day at a time. When you start feeling better you'll be more motivated to do better.
