Valerie, I'm so glad you're okay. That's a fear of mine. I love riding around town, but hate doing things like crossing busy streets or having to ride IN the busy streets.
And Team -- wow! we have 198 members! I just noticed that. You'd think we could get a little more activity with that many members.
Maybe we could use the Daily Chatter thread for just that -- anything to get to know each other better -- so that everyone feels more comfortable coming here with their problems and successes.
And I don't know how you have your site settings set, but mine are set to notify me whenever we get a new member -- that way I can welcome them right away -- before they post (IF they post). I'm not the best at it, but I try.

thanks gang the only thing that feels a little broken is my spirit, or at least a little bruised! It has been a LONG HARD Summer and August can't get here quick enough! I just want to start my next semester and put all of this behind me. If I were to list all of the issues I've had all summer I'd need an extra discussion board! But I'd rather put my energy and focus somewhere more positive than that! but thank you so much for the well wishes, I feel most alone in the world at times like this!

sorry I'm of no use as I got hit by a car on my bicycle on Thursday and (nothing broke or bleeding) but my neck and hips are out of place, my bike is toast and the extent of my activity for a few months will be getting back and forth to the chiropractor. BTW I feel like POOH!
One of the reasons I have not been very active on any of my teams is because I am not trying to lose weight. In fact I am gaining due to the little bun I am carrying but I am always interested in all posts and respond when I can!
We’ve talked before about ways of getting more people involved and making the team more active. I just had a thought. Hope it hasn’t already been considered. But, I was cruising around the site and noticed that each week, five different teams are selected to be a “Featured Team” and prominently highlighted. I thought that it is an excellent idea for getting us more attention.
