cardio only this morning...20 minutes on the elliptical.

Had some extra energy after work so I just finished up another 40 minutes on the elliptical. 60 minutes in one day...definitely a first for me since surgery!

I was reading through posts on another team earlier this evening and was checking out what everyone was doing for cardio...suddenly I felt like I was slacking off. So I threw on my workout clothes and jumped on the elliptical for 30 minutes. I worked up a great sweat and feel FANTASTIC for having done it. You know, if it weren't for Spark, I'm not sure I would have mustered up the energy!

Susiechoochoo,

We actually didn't stay at Tahoe. We camped down near Sonora Pass and then went up to Tahoe to paddle. After camping we stayed in Carson City with the in-laws. Nice to have relatives so close up there. Paddling was over on the eastern shore I guess you'd call it. Sand Harbor? I've paddled on the western shore and in South Lake, but this was a first for me. So much less developed over there. Loved it!

Hope your knee feels better Susie...!

8/20 Had PT today, 1 hr. Knee sore today, but better than it was pre-surgery last week.

On a weight plateau/maintaining. I May need to lower calorie intake emoticon . I read that I may need to do that since I lost 10lbs. Soon I'll be doing the bike and some more cardio - that will give me a boost!

I went for a trail run last Friday and my knee has kinda hurt ever since. I've done this trail run before so not sure why my knee is hurting this time. Anyway, I told myself that I was going to give myself permission to skip the gym this week. I think, however, I might end up going back today.
