I've got a "hooray for me" moment to share:
I went to the doctor's this morning for a follow-up on the blood pressure medication she put me on in December, and the nurse weighed me, took me in the exam room, then after I was seated on the table, he went to write in the chart, then asked if he could weigh me again. I didn't say anything until we were back in the room, then I said, "were you questioning that I lost weight?" He said, "I just wanted to make sure, because it was so much less." That made my WEEK!!!

Motivational as ALWAYS!

Ummm, Tea Leoni... I wanted to see your face, not a tall looking stick figure of sorts self standing on a fence! You are 2000 miles away now... I need to see your big smile!!!

Keep motivating me... you know how I need it!!!

Celebrate your progress! If you're having trouble staying active and eating smart, step back and look at how far you have come. Treat yourself to a new pair of walking shoes, a pass to a yoga studio, or lessons to learn an exciting new sport such as golf or tennis. Low-fat or vegetarian cooking classes are other great ways to get inspired, have fun, and stay healthy!
Substitute a no-calorie sweetener for sugar
Season your vegetables with lemon instead of butter
Use nonfat milk in your coffee instead of creamer emoticon

You are what you eat. Before each bite, ask yourself, "Are you really hungry?"
