I like this weather. 40's and 50 temperatures are so much easier on livestock, water tanks and equipment, but you wonder what this spring/summer will be like.

Don't be content with average. Average is as close to the bottom as it is to the top.

I know, it is CRAZY. I'm in WI and we've only had 2 good snows and both melted right away. It's hardly even cold. It's scary even though I hate being cold, because the weather isn't doing what it's suppose to...

We have about the same weather here in SE South Dakota, It was in the 50's yesterday, most of the snow is gone (of course!) Just hope it rains this summer!

We hit upper 40s and that felt balmy and springlike. DD and I worked in the garage this afternoon cleaning and organizing for a garage sale over spring break and I never felt the need to put a jacket on. Didn't we have 6-7 inches of snow last week?

Really mild here too, N. Il., it's 50+ right now. We still have some snow banks. Sure hope it is cold enough to kill off all the bugs. Our tile are still running so I know we have moisture in the ground.

I have never seen such weird weather as we've been having this winter. We'll have 3/4 days of cold, maybe a little snow but never more than four inches at a time. Then it warms up, we get sleet, then pouring rain and everything turns to mud. 3/4 days of warmer temps and then we're right back at cold weather. The husband spread 35 tons of lime yesterday, which is much earlier in the year than usual. Good for trying to be ahead of the spring schedule. I don't dare drive or walk in the spot where the truck load of lime was dropped because it qualifies as a mud bog now - even with the four inches of fresh snow we got overnight. We're still picking kale from under the makeshift plastic cover we put up, but had been picking the uncovered curly kale until last week. So there's a pot of sausage kale soup simmering on the stove for the hubby's dinner, and I'm wondering when I leave work tomorrow morning after the "zombie" shift what type of weather I'll be driving home in.
