It helps to pay attention to your triggers. How are you feeling when you eat/snack? Did an event trigger this?
Before you snack, drink a full glass of water and wait. Water usually works for me when I'm feeling stressed or depressed and turn to food for comfort. Food is food. It feeds your body. If you can start thinking of food as fuel, it might help you, It sure helps me!
If you are proned to snack, make sure you have healthy options available. Fruit, celery, carrots etc.
Eat less, move more, make good choices!
