I've always been told that it's best to use the same scale to weigh yourself because difference scales vary. It's also important to be consistent with the time of day that you weigh yourself and be consistent with what you're wearing. For example, I weigh myself first thing in the morning before I get in the shower (i.e. naked). The amount of water in the body varies during the day, so your weight can fluctuate with that. If you do it first thing in the morning everytime it should be consistent.

I always know when I visit the doctor, I will weigh 2 pounds more than at home, simply because at home I am nude and dehydrated from 8 hours of sleep. The doc weighs me with clothes on, after breakfast, so I just mentally subtract those 2.

yeah that's how i was thinking so i'm just gonna disregard what i weighed at my sisters today lol ....It's weird how all scales can read 0 when you start and then be so different from the next that also reads 0 to start.....

I may not have been ON the biggest loser but i'm on the website. Check me out!

I always weigh in using the same scale because some scales might be calebrated differently. Even if mine is off from another scale, at least it will be consistently off. KWIM? emoticon

What do you guy's think? Do you ever use different scales? Do you trust using different scales?

Reason i ask is because i used my sisters today and it is lower than what it was at school on tues. I dunno it's possible i lost it but i don't know that's what i hate about it the second guessing myself like oh no i didn't lose it it's just a different scale. I'm not changing my tracker until i weigh in at school....But what do you think?
