I'm still around. I have a couple other groups I regularly check to keep me on track with either encouragement, hobbies that keep me active or dietary issues that I am challenged by.
I think I have actually gained weight since I initially joined due to some serious stress and giving up on living Gluten Free. I have been living gluten free for six months and started walking with my mom again. I try to record my food for a week at a time or just keep track of water and fruits and veggies. My biggest goal these days is to feel healthier and move toward losing weight at a consistent reasonable pace- 1-2# a week.

HI, I haven't posted to this team but I'm a member who joined on 3/1/07. I've lost 22 lbs since joining and managed to keep most of it off, but have been yo-yoing for some time now with the same 5-10 lbs trying to break into the 150's and ultimately reach my goal.

I am also still here. I love this site for when I need a challenge, but I can't say that I have been consistant with it. I hit my goal weight a long time ago, but recently had hormone issues that caused me to gain a little weight, so now I'm trying to get back down again.
I'm still here even though I took a break for a little while. I managed to lose 40 pounds since joining the class and I managed to keep it off as well. My strategy has been disciplined eating as a result of changing my lifestyle. I don't deprive myself of anything. I still enjoy ice cream and fast food. I just limit my intake of it and balance it with a really heathly meal during that same day if I do misbehave. I've had Cold Stone ice cream for lunch and a salad for dinner in one day several times. I don't recommend this approach, but it does help balance those times when I don't eat as I should.
My goal now is to focus on toning and eating healthy calories. I'll start by eliminating fast food. But I'm keeping my ice cream! (although in moderation)
Hello I have never posted to this team, but Im a part of the class none the less...I cant say that I stayed with spark consistantly for any long legnth of time......I usually come back if my weight goes up more than 5-lbs...however this time I plan to stay until I reach my goal..I will post to check on and check in ...good luck to everyone... I'm back! It's been 2 years and I have gained back all the 30lbs I worked so hard to get off. I quit logging in when I was only 3 lbs away from my goal...big mistake! I'm turning 30 and I feel like I should still have somewhat of a good figure so this time around I'm busting my butt to get all the way there!!!
I'm still here pretty regularly--tracking my meals. I had some great new habits and had lost 40 pounds when I ran into some health issues that stopped me from doing cardio--and slowly dropped a few other habits I had picked up. Back to drinking 8 c water/day and keeping calories within range, and working towards adding the cardio and strength training again...
The "good" is often the worst enemy of the "best"!
I'm still out here daily...I keep taking baby steps forward, slip sometimes along the way...but still keep pushing... :-)
