Saw HIM this spring. Worst concert I've ever been to. Dropping Denver as a concert venue. It's cursed.
Saw Apocalyptica a few weeks ago in Albuquerque. Had fun at the short meet & greet. They had played Denver the night before and Albuquerque is at higher altitude and the heat was bad. Perttu collapsed on stage and they shortened their set.
I know bands like to tour in the summer time, but this is ridiculous. You can't come from sea level and do this kind of stuff. Management needs to get a clue.
Also, this was the first time I saw them with opening bands and they were terrible, unlike the HIM concert where Dommin was the one saving grace.

So far no really good metal shows headed this way but I'm planning to go see Cheap Trick in a few weeks and then Heart is coming this way in August. Going to see Terry Glaze (former Pantera lead singer) up in Maryland in a couple of weeks too.
