I've recently started listening to slacker.com too. Read a review by some guy that claims it's much better than pandora but honestly, aside from the visual aspects of the site, I really can't tell a difference as far as the way the music is delivered. slacker seems to have more commercials though. I do enjoy the uncensored comedy channel on slacker. I put my headphones on in my office and every thinks I'm crazy because I have periodic outbursts of laughter.
I am not up on all of these things... They have some kind of commercial that says something about XXX many of people are listening Pandora now... I had to ask my boyfriends 16yr old daughter what it was... I am glad she told me, I love it! I use it at home & work and told all my co-workers about it

I enjoy it while I'm doing artwork. I get to hear new stuff as you said, and I never have to bother with switching CDs. (Yes, I still live in the musical- technology dark ages) hehehe. I need to get better speakers for my computer though, so I can turn up the volume a bit more.
I wanted to mention for anyone who isn't aware of this. Pandora.com is a free personalized radio station. You login, register and add bands you like, it is the coolest thing ever. It is how I discovered HammerFall. It's free and they only play the music you like, if they play something you don't, click the thumbs down button and it stops and they won't ever play that again. So cool:) Enjoy!!
