If you want to you can go on youtube and look up stretches for shin's to prevent shin splints.
There is some good exercises that can help you with that issue. I use to get them alot back in the days of running they hurt really bad. I'm sorry your going through this.
Ice them, stretch them , look up those stretches for them. Maybe you need new sneakers??
Sometimes when they wear down they can create issues in our bodies. Not sure how old your sneakers are.
Maybe you might want to try out a new exersice to get your exercise mojo going?
When it was so hot around here I took breaks and rested it was too hot to workout.
I keep going and motivated by looking at old pictures of myself from when I was very heavy it reminds me to not give up and then I tell myself ya look how far you have come and all the smaller clothes your wearing now. Keep going girl and don't lose what you gained... this is me talking to myself. I refused to gain and feel sick and tired as I use to.
Just keep going Stephanie . If your shins hurt bad don't do cardio just do weights for now take a few days off or go swimming maybe swimming and the cold water will help.

I'm off to go get ready for another skating lesson . Might go for another walk tonight too afterwards. I'm working on losing 10 lbs . I really have 20 but i'm breaking it up 10 at a time and hoping by Christmas i'll have it off.
