I have this problem with fingernails and toenails. I will sometimes polish my toenails but I can't use remover to take it off, so I just have to let it chip away until it's gone. And it really dries out my nails - I'm having to uber pamper my toenails for months after I decide to not have nail polish.
I wish I had an answer to your question. I have never heard of anyone having that problem. Bless you. I don't paint my finger nails often because it just chips off, so I keep them clean. Now my toes are never NAKED!
Look online and see what google can find. Good luck. I can't even imagine your problem.

I would dearly love to wear nail polish but haven't in YEARS because it dries out my nails so badly, makes them crack and break, and the nail polish remover is painful. It burns when I use it and hurts for hours.
Do you have any ideas for a nail polish I can use, and what I might be able to use to remove the chipped polish so I can apply new (or change colors)?
I dearly miss that part of "being a girl". I've been SO craving polishing my nails the last week, but haven't because I fear the damage and pain. But I WANT to polish my nails.
