Trish- try adding a smoothie with protein powder for your breakfast (if you get a total of 30 grams that's ideal) it should really help your protein count. I use an unflavored powder so I don't end up adding a bunch of carbs that don't taste good anyway. I do 1 cup milk, 1 cup frozen raspberries, stevia and protein powder. It covers a dairy, 2 fruits and a lot of protein first thing in the morning. Try to eat more foods in their original form. Go for fresh or frozen vegetables instead of canned. Canned have lots of sodium. Also try not to make a lot of boxed dinner things, they also have a lot of sodium. As for vitamin D, I take a supplement. It makes a big difference in my mood.

As for the two teams, just participate in both until you are solidly in the lower one. I am in both 150 and 160. I had been in the 150s for quite a while but then winter happened. Now I am on the lower end of the 160s and hope to soon move out.

yes thanks I always do track, even when I do bad on calories, I still do good on nutrition so that helps me see the improvements I made. When I do meet my calories though, I don't meet t nutritional goals.!

Just make sure you continue to track everything you eat, even on "bad" days! Having to see exactly what "xyz" choice added up to makes it easier to resist making that same choice next time!

So frustrated! I swore I would never be back here! I was nearly to the 140's. Now not only am I here, I seem to be camped out here! This is not a healthy weight for my height and frame so it's not a good place for me to be. The thing is, I only have myself to blame :-(

Update:
I hit the 165 mark I was aiming for the end of December! emoticon I've now upped the ante to 162 by year end and if I go strong, I could maybe see 150-ville!

Woo Hoo! Decided to stay here in 160ville for the summer I guess, but I'm finally starting to make progress through town again! Met my 30 lb weight loss goal today. It is also a big celebration because I finally got past 163 ... a weight I have reached 4 times since my daughter was born 15 years ago, but have never been able to get past before! 7 more pounds and I'll finally be down to my pre-preganancy weight : )

Today's weight: 161.8 ... hopefully waving goodbye in a couple of weeks!

I have a new DVD to do and also have cleaning and getting stuff out of here. That is a priority as I am looking for a new place for Spring/summer of 2014. We are in a 2 family right now which was a great place when all 4 kids were home but things are changing and it it time to lok for the new place/home/situation-
I cooked a batch of food for my DD so I have plenty to eat here too as I saved some.

Sounds good!
I am trying to make the best choices I can while having them be more lifestyle type decisions -m bit more intuitive and it seems like it is working
After all I don't think we burn more calories being on a "wagon"
it is busy lately so that really could be why I am losing

Going to try and keep it healthy today. Green smoothie for breakfast, I have boneless chicken breasts defrosting for dinner.

I have most of the day off, so I plan a couple long walks with my dog on this beautiful sunny day. I have hand weights I'm going to try and use for ST today...
