Bought my stability balls yesterday; a 75 inch and a 55 inch one. The smaller one came with two 2 lb weights, a resistance band, and a DVD. It was a pilates 'kit'. The larger one only came with a DVD.

Zeus and I have our daily walk every morning -- and the walks generally last between 55 and 65 minutes. So now the plan is to add some training to my days, after breakfast, and before our walks.

The extra training will hopefully shorten my stay in 240-ville.

Time to do this!

Had a much better day for food and water yesterday.

Managed to get in half my water, and stayed within the food limits for the day, and got all my steps in! YAY!

Learned a lesson from my pigorama on the weekend -- indulging in 'junk' food is just not worth it in the end -- my body (stomach) ends up rejecting it.

Processed foods are evil.

Was doing fine yesterday, until it came to dinner time -- then it was a pigorama of processed foods -- frozen pizza and frozen chicken fingers... and bbq chips.

I suffered with an upset stomach all night, and ended up taking Gravol so I could sleep.

Today is going to be a much better day.

Life is good!

Jeez... I've been busy, and I've tracked and have done minimal sparking.... time to catch up on my posting..

Had a pigorama type of weekend -- ate and ate and ate... well.. it felt like that... I had chips, twizzlers and ice cream, all of them... on both Saturday and Sunday. This USED to be the norm for me... but it's not any more, so it showed on the scale. When I did some thinking, I realized that it was emotional eating that resulted from stress about starting my new job on Monday.

I am grateful that only 2 boomerang pounds found their way back, and I quickly banished one of them... Monday's weigh-on kept me in 240-ville by only half a pound.

This week's mission is to stay on track!

Well, my coworker is not really mean... we all have our moments of bringing stuff in to share with everyone... I'm guilty of bringing in all kinds of baking when the mood strikes me... (I guess I am mean too!).

I am proud of myself, I did not have even on piece of chocolate today. YAY ME!

What a mean coworker!! I am the same way with candy, especially chocolate. And those deceptively small suckers are the worst. I could eat handfuls of minis. Glad to hear you are tracking it and making a plan. That is the majority of the battle!

Yesterday was a bad day for eating chocolate,

A colleague put out a giant jar of mini swiss milk chocolates.... I kept going back to the jar over and over all day. NOT good.

I ended up having the equivalent of three chocolate bars. I tracked them.

If I keep that up, I'm going to end up back in 250-ville instead of the 230-ville.

Today's mission is to stay away from those chocolates (she has a GIANT container full, still!)

Welcome back, Becomingmore, and welcome Primrose!

Becomingmore, I understand completely how it feels to have an inactive team. It's a bit discouraging to come in every day and to not have any interaction going on.

It's was the same for a team I started a while back, called Canada in Pictures. I let it lag many times because I was the only one there, but then I decided to just keep posting, to keep myself accountable, as well as to keep the group active. Eventually, it could grow into something bigger!

My progress, after a few days of having issues with my stomach, seems to have stalled. My weight did a nosedive while I was sick, but as soon as I was able to eat again, my weight went back to where I would have been if I hadn't been sick.

My plan is still on track, though, and I'm still only just visiting 240-ville for a short time.

The scale didn't budge this week -- likely due to all of the salt that I consumed over the weekend.

Not going to let that slow me down.. I am pushing ahead towards the next ville.

Was still having trouble yesterday. Felt better by evening, took the dog for a walk, and then was famished. Ate solids, felt ok.

This morning, the empty stomach had food in it again, so my weight is where is should be... not below, like it was a few days ago.

Still making progress, though... and still plan on keeping my stay in 240-ville short.

Yesterday's stomach issues dropped my weight down to 246.5. Not going to celebrate just yet, because that's my weight with a stomach that has been completely emptied out!

Yuck is all I have to say about my experience yesterday.

Had a good weekend.

Had a fire drill at work this morning... walked down from the 8th floor... stood around out in the sunshine until they called us back in.

Glad I had my tracker on to track the steps.
- walked the dog this morning (shorter walk that usual, because I woke up late
- walked to work
- walked down the stairs from the 8th floor

... and it's only 12:30!

Back at work today, after an extra-long weekend.

Started the day off with a good breakfast followed by an hour-long walk with the dog.

Arrived in 240-ville yesterday, made it in by half a pound. Happy to be here, planning on just seeing the sights and then moving on, heading to 230-ville. I hear the clothing options are better there.

I'm going to have to really hunker down. To get out of 240-ville, every day I will need to:

- drink all my water
- stay within my food limits
- do my walking
- start doing some extra cardio -- bootcamp, will work.

That's the strategy, now I'm going to get busy and get the job done!

I'm still looking for something that will work for me. Planning to start the No S program tomorrow. It's going to be hard to change from a plan with lots of small snacks to only three meals a day. Hoping to have a good week and sending lots of strength to all my Spark friends.

I must really like living in 240-ville because this is my third time here in the last two years. I've spent a few weeks in 230-ville but never really took up residence. I'm so ready to leave this place once and for all. I have a ways to go, about 6 pounds, so I just have to keep pushing myself.

Well, the day has finally arrived! I'm dumping my last lb. The scale read 239 lbs. this morning. You have know idea how happy I am. I know I have a long way to go. Yesterday I looked in the mirror emoticon & wasn't to pleased with what I saw. I feel once I reach 210ville (219) I will have much more self esteem which I don't have any of right now! emoticon I hope this is farewell to 240ville for the last & final time! I am wishing everyone that comes after me the best on your weight loss journey. emoticon emoticon Look me up if you need some encouragement. One last thing I have to do is to put my weight ticker back up. That will be a reminder of how much I weigh & will be one more thing that will keep my accountable. Why I took it off ? I guess I didn't want to face the fact that I was back in 240ville again & only 25 lbs. away from where I started several yrs. ago. That weight ticker will be a reminder of how much I weigh & will be one more thing that will keep my accountable. I also got back in the habit to weigh myself 1st thing each morning. It's great for accountability! so I guess this is goodbye for the last time. Goodbye 240ville! Arrivederci emoticon

Dumping another lb. Down to 241 lbs. Two more lbs. & I'll be back in 230ville. If you noticed I didn't say I will be going to my new ville because I've been moving from 230ville to 240ville & back again so many times in the last two months it's been unreal! emoticon I do hope this will be the last time I will be here. I was just reading Frenchtosd"s blog on how she lost over 100 lbs. It was so inspiring. She started in 270ville & now is in 140ville. She now weighs 134 lbs. to be exact! She also had her ups & downs. If you read some of her blogs & look at the time frame it took her almost 3 yrs. to get it right. Then it was downhill from their. That story made me feel good because theirs hope for me yet! Maybe just maybe I will get it right this time & it will be downhill from here on in. Wouldn't that be nice. emoticon emoticon Linda

Dumping another 2 lbs. Down to 242 lbs. this morning. emoticon Three more lbs. & I will be back to 230ville. That will be a happy day. Then I am going to work real hard at getting down to 229 lbs.(220ville). There I will feel more comfortable physically & mentally. From their my goal is heading down the villes to reach Onederland. I've been with SP several yrs. now & never reached Onederland. The closest I came was 202 lbs. a little over a yr. ago. emoticon emoticon

Tomorrow will be two weeks back on track & the scale finally moved down a lb. Dumping 1 lb. Weighing in at 244 lbs. I guess it's better than gaining. In the last two weeks I've been back on track I only managed to loss 1 lb. in 10 days. I lost a good deal the 1st few days which was probably water retention then nothing. If I am to be honest I did detour off track a few days but not a great deal like I usually do eating a bag of candy or the whole box of crackers. I'm hoping to be out of here in the next two weeks. I would love to drop 20 lbs. in the next two month by April before spring comes. It is doable if I work hard at it. On days I don't get exercise I have to start using my gazelle or treadmill if I want to drop 20 lbs. by April. It can be done. I must stay focused & be honest with myself on what I'm eating. I will be so happy when I get back to 230ville. I feel so uncomfortable physically & mentally in 240ville. emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

I'm stuck at 245 lbs. The scale hasn't moved for a few days now. Today has been one week since I'm back on track. So far I'm holding my own. Some days are a little harder than others. I'm going to emoticon till I'm out of here & back in 230ville again. I don't feel as bad when I'm in the 230"s but I would be much more comfortable in the 220"s. I guess I have to work a little harder if I want to be their by the springtime! emoticon emoticon

Dumping 3 more lbs. I got on the scale & it read 246 lbs. Boy, I hope my scale isn't broke. I will emoticon if I get on the scale tomorrow & It's back emoticon . I don't mind to much if the scale doesn't move but when I'm watching what I eat & the scale moves up I get very discouraged. emoticon
