Oysters have a very high iron content. I discovered this many years ago when I had a blood problem and had to increase my iron intake. Oysters worked well for me

Keep on track

I drink milk. I start each day with a latte made at home. That does not really help with the iron. I have always struggled with getting enough iron. When my levels get really low, I put greens into things like spaghetti sauce. My doctor suggested starting the day with an omelet with spinach when my iron levels were really low.

It's not what happens to you, but how you react to it that matters. Epictetus

Hi guys! I've been watching my iron and calcium levels lately, and trying to meet the minimum RDA each day. I've been eating a mixed dark greens mix as well as spinach and romaine salad every day. I try not to eat processed foods when I can help it... but there is a PC Blue menu lasagna that I have some times and a clif bar that I really like. Both of these items help me to reach my goal.

But I'm wondering what do you eat to get enough calcium and iron each day?

There are only soo many dark greens that I want each day. I don't eat red meat. Any suggestions you can make would be great!!

Thanks,
Sandra
