There are packaged foods, then there are packaged foods. The key is paying attention to the label. I sometimes buy pre-packed meals to stash in my office for those days when I just don't feel like packing a lunch or going out with my colleagues.
So, you're not alone. Just remember to eat something fresh every day and drink plenty of water.
Congratulations on your awesome weight loss!

I so understand where you are coming from. I never really learned to cook for ingredients. It was open a can of this...
The funny thing is I have learned that cooking from raw ingredients is easy, (when you know how). And cheaper (way) So now I cook from scratch with quality, often organic ingredients and spend no more and take less time. If you had told me that before I would not have believed you.
My family is LOVING the new things I have learned, my daughter said she hopes I go to cooking school next.
I get ideas form Nigella Lawson often. She often cooks for just herself so she might be great for you cooking for one. I like her Nigella Express on TV. A lot of the things are ten or so minutes of prep, and then whatever cooking time.
I hope you find the changes enjoyable and good for your health!

Hi, everyone. I've been a Spark person for about six months now and released 22 pounds. I joined this group because I'm determined to cut down on processed foods and eat more authentic whole foods. The problem is packaged foods are just so much easier to purchase because the cooking is done for you (with the exception of the part where you hawk in the microwave). I'm single, so the only person I have to cook for is me.
