You can have dark chocolate, the darker the better. It's actually healthy.

Have a lovely day, anyway. :)

I will not have any chocolate. I thought about it and realized that I don't want it enough to waste all those calories.

Well, I've decided on lamb and will venture out to look for a small rack. My DH loves lamb, and it won't be too hard on my digestive track with only about 70 hours to go before my marathon.

Have a lovely V-Day, everyone!

Red meat seems to be a theme... We, too are having steaks--some NY Strip I think they are (my dad's a butcher so I just say "steak" and he gives me whatever's good--I'm not great with the names). To go with, some quinoa pilaf and steamed asparagus and a bottle of Cabernet. Yipes. Good thing Valentine's only comes once a year! I'm also making DH his once-a-year cherry pie, with some cherries we picked this summer that have been waiting in the freezer, but the leftovers are going to work with him tomorrow to spread out the calorie burden!

EMDEDE--How about butternut squash soup? That's so delicious and the color...Oh, beautiful!

Hi, I am going to buy filet mignom. I don't buy specialty steaks that often. That will be a treat. I am going to look through the Spark page recipes for a side dish, and I will make a salad, and a glass of wine. Then watch a movie. emoticon
Have a great day today. AmySue22 emoticon

It's a regular day for us. Dh is always traveling during the week, so my ds and I may do something special. Hadn't even thought about it. Maybe a fish with asparagus or something.

My Darling Groom travels all week, and the last thing he wants is restaurant food, regardless how luscious. Plus, I have to be really careful about what I eat this week, as my marathon is on Sunday.

It won't be much of a romantic dinner, as my mom and daughter will be hanging around the house. I don't see him for days on end, then I have to share him with everyone. [sigh]

Grilled Salmon or Halibut topped with a mix of tomatoes, capers, garlic, scallions, olives, olive oil & balsamic.

That sounds like a fabulous meal. Just don't do it every day. Happy Valentines Week! emoticon

I think I will splurge a bit mid-week with a small steak ( red meat for me is not common, a glass of red wine and some dark chocolate as my desert. But no boxes of bon-bons!

How about you?
