weigh in - 118. Empty and without clothes. At the Dr it shall be different. I will stay strong this weekend knowing I have that apt Monday AM. It won't be the lowest I;ve ever had there but not as horrible as it could have been. I'm super competitive with myself with that scale. I honestly think my body is meant to be a little higher sometimes but keeping my goal lower keeps me from letting the lbs pile on and using excuses.

Christie, great job! I will probably weigh in on Sunday (I have to give 8:00 AM exams both on Friday and Saturday - I am college professor and it's finals week - and I don't know if I have time to get ready AND weigh in). I usually weigh in on Friday or Saturday.

As for me: did good yesterday. I actually managed to squeeze in a 1 mile run yesterday afternoon (did it in 10 min emoticon ). Hoping for another good day today. Maybe another short run this afternoon? Back to grading now emoticon

weigh in: down 0.2 lbs. not a lot, but going in the right direction emoticon
My goal is 0.5 lbs a week, but I did not track my food at all this week.
Anyway: last night I refused chocolate, so I am very proud of myself. Today I have a meeting at 3 where they always have chocolate chip cookies, but I won't have any! Truth be told: if I write it here, on this forum, I cannot not keep my word. So, thank you for keeping me accountable, Christie! emoticon

I don't track food on Spark anymore - just mentally and I should actually be better about counting calories- I stopped a long time ago - I am probably eating more than I should to lose....I did well yesterday and hoping to keep it up today!

No weigh in. Yesterday went really well (I did go for a run in the afternoon, though it was still raining a bit). I made pizza last night, but only ate one slice! And it is all due to my husband. He wants to drop about 2 lbs by 2015, so he's also watching what he eats and he ate one slice. Then, I asked him if he wanted one more, he said no. How could I have said yes, right? He's 10 inches taller than me AND a man and can stop after one slice and I can't??? Anyway: no workout planned for today, but will run tomorrow morning. Let's do this!

My hubby reminded me last night about the amazing chocolates coming our way at Xmas from father in law so I need to be good until then! I know I have put on 5 lbs or so....too scared to find out. No WI; did ok yesterday in the 1400s range; no workout this morning as it was pouring outside. The dog was very disappointed for not running, but we'll go for a 2-mile run this afternoon after work (they say the rain will stop). I won't be tracking today, but will try to eat similarly to yesterday.
Christie, let us both do a 3 week streak! One day at a time.

no weigh in - workout in. Fell off the wagon hard all weekend but all the junk is gone from my house. I am going for a three week streak - I have a dr apt on the 22nd and have to weigh in - scared to see a higher number if I keep going like this. WIll be sticking to it and that will allow some Xmas cheats :) Two bdays to pass by though too but luckily my son picked out an ice cream flavor I don't really like! We can do this!!

WI this morning: gained some weight this week (I am back to 126 lbs), but not too bad. We had a guest who loves dessert (and he is very thin: life isn't fair), and I couldn't say no as I'm weak... Anyway: new week, back on the wagon. I will probably take a few cheat days (read that 2-3) for Christmas, but that's it! DH is also trying to lose weight, so it shouldn't be too hard.
Christie, congrats for hanging in there! I'll try your suggestion and eat about 1400 cals every day instead of restricting them to only the 1200s range.

Time of the month arrived this weekend which explains the overeating somewhat - will try my best today and this week. Happy birthday to your baby, Christie! Maybe weigh in tomorrow is not such a good idea for you after all ;) I will make cheesecake for my Katie and I will definitely eat a slice. We'll have a guest (Kate's uncle) all week next week, so I won't be tracking, but I'll try to eat sensibly. And then start over after Thanksgiving. You're probably right. I'll try the 1400 cals thing and see what happens. I need to relax and take it slow. Slow and steady is the answer for weight loss, right?

no weigh in - workout in. May weigh in for a damage done reality check tomorrow - I was bad over the few weeks before this one. 5'1 is tough - you do need to eat a bit less - maybe 1400. I found eating so close to 1200 did not help me lose but bumping it up did. I also had a cheat day once a week - where I added about 500 calories(a couple of oreos and a nutty granola bar or two- higher in fat items) helped me lose a couple of days later - wakes the metabolism back up. Maybe birthday cake on your baby's bday coming up? I'm indulging in a healthier cake tonight for my kiddo - she's 2 today!

Christie, thank you for the encouragement. I'm only 5'1", which means my range is between 1200-1550. But if I eat 1500, then I don't lose weight :( I keep hoping that maybe I gained some muscle from all the running? :)) Anyway: thank you again.

Ali - we have all felt like that - 6 oz is so little - try not weighing in for a week and pump up the water....it's hard. I feel like I am always really trying hard to stay in my range - and think maybe I should be higher up? How tall are you?

I actually gained 3 oz last week. I was a bit disappointed on the scale, I thought I did great last week. Well: what's done is done. Due to this disappointment, I ate a bit more than I should have over the weekend. I need to lose 1 lb this week just to reach my first goal, so I logged in my food for the day.
It's raining outside and it's cold. Winter is coming...

Wow, Christie! My Kate turns 2 on Nov 25! What a coincidence! Just like you, she is the reason I want to exercise more and be healthier. I want to cook better and more nutritious foods, eat better and so on so that she has healthy food on the table all the time. And I don't want her to grow up with me having low self esteem either, so I need to lose weight so that I am happier with the way I look. Isn't it amazing how having children changes everything?

no weigh in - workout in. I exercise walking in place at home M-F if I can - not anything strenuous. My littlest is turning 2 Nov 21! My oldest is 8 and my middle is turning 5 in Dec. They are the reason I try my best to live well(and many times why I stress eat to lol)....
