Weigh in was 131.4 this morning. I have been busy today getting ready to go on a vacation, so no exercise. I will have little access to broadband for the week so I may be quiet on this thread. Hopefully, I will not gain weight on this trip.

No weigh-in today. Yesterday I was still in the 131 range.

The hardest part of getting older is the waist. My waist was 22 inches in high school and then 24 inches until I reached my mid-50's. Now it is 27 inches. I hate that. However, it could be worse. At least I was small during the "fun" years. Life is too short!!

Still at 131.4, but I had actually gained on Monday, so this is good.

I have been unable to work out much this week since I have been involved in several club meetings. I have been doing leg lifts and yoga at night while I watch TV. I figure anything is better than nothing.

117 - no workout. Off my routine and running errands. Hoping to keep up my streak of healthy balanced eating...if the weight drops that's ok but if not that's ok too. This 2 lbs is mostly water weight

no weigh in - workout will be in later(since I have no workouts next two days due to Dr appts) - 8Habit - read a book called "Fat after 40" and besides portion control that is what the author(who went on Oprah and is a Dr) said- no carbs after 4. Makes sense to me and load up on the leafy greens :)

Today was weekly weigh-in day: 131.4 still.

I have been trying to stay between 1200 to 1400 calories a day because I read that was healthy, but I read an article in a Web MD magazine at the doctor's office and realized that I need to go back to eating the way I did when I was in my twenties. I think 1200 to 1400 is fine for maintenance, but not for losing. I may do some changes that eliminates some carbs and adds more protein and vegetables.

My bone structure is on the low side of medium, but it is not small. It sounds like you are doing a great job of losing and maintenance.

I am 37(almost) - I have to say 8Habit you have a great weigh for someone who is post menopausal- the metabolism is so slow from what I understand and so little calories are required to maintain - do you mind e asking how many calories you typically try to consume to lose?

If you are very small boned then you might get away with 114. I had a doctor tell me never to drop below 120 and when I was in my 20's and weighed 109, a doctor told me I was too thin and I should be on a diet to gain weight.

I weighed about 115 when I was in high school however. I will be 70 next year so that has been a long time ago.

I did not weigh today. I had two Halloween candy size Mounds last night after dinner and I didn't want to see the results. emoticon Can you believe that those two tiny pieces were 170 calories!!! I blame my husband who put them down with my coffee. (Well, not really since I was the one who stuck them in my mouth).

I am 5'4 - I always wonder where I should fall - I;m not unhappy at this weight though by any means. Just need to not focus on "perfection" being 114. Hope you are having a good weekend!

Way to GO!!!

It has been years and years since I weighed 119. That is such a perfect weight, depending on your height and bone structure. For my 5'4" it is good but if I was 5'8", too small.

I thought it was where my body wanted to be but I've put on at least 1/2 of the last ten back and so many people say I look healthier - not sure if my body knows. Thanks Christie! I am back to counting every morsel that goes in my mouth. I can't believe how much weight you lost! Was the last ten pounds hard for you? Do you have any special secrets to do this? I am sure my knees (both are bone-on-bone) contribute to my lack of exercise, but I don't think exercise is a big factor in major weight loss.

no weigh in - workout in - good one too yesterday and today. Eating pretty well - hoping to weigh in Friday and see where I am - not expecting great results but hopefully not more than out of my 5 lb range. A higher number might help keep me on track this weekend better than last!

workout in yesterday and today and good eating. Really need to cut my portions too if I want to take off 5lbs of real weight I know - it's super hard being light and trying to lose anything....
Sally - not my wedding but thanks :) I am just a guest thank goodness! Been married 12 years with 3 beautiful kiddoes - 8, almost 5, and almost 2! Great job both of you losing too - I am too nervous to hop on a scale yet - may weight since disappointment would happen and I would lose focus. I need to see the belly pooch deflate first....have a great day!

My husband does the grocery shopping and cooking in our household (which I love since I hate to cook). He is a very creative and excellent cook, but I really have to watch my intake of carbs.

I keep telling him that unless he wants me to weigh what he does (he is 6'1" and 200 pounds; I am 5'4"), I can't eat as much as him.

I just need to watch my sugar and carbs when he cooks those dishes.

Yes, I do find it hard when you are trying to lose a little. I am watching everything I am eating and upted my working out. It has felt good pushing my work out more, helps clear my head. :) Wonderful! I am happy you liked your goodie!!

sorry I have not been around...I've been eating crap!! I am committed to dropping 5-10 though - started today. I have a wedding on the 20th I need to fit into the dress! no crazy starvation schemes - just working out a little harder and eating healthier....the summer of ice cream and cool whip is OVER! :)

I was within one pound of my goal weight in March, 2013. Of course, I think my old scale was two or three pounds too light. My new one is very accurate.

Do you find it is so hard when you need to lose very little?

Awesome, good job Christie!!

Hubby and I went out to lunch yesterday at J Alexander's, ate a healthy ahi tuna salad. I have been cooking all of our meals and can control everything that goes into the meals. We stopped to take our favorite Indian food out for dinner and I went over my calorie count. 135.9 today, I will be down Tmo! emoticon
