Sounds like my husband! He hasn't (won't) read the book, but he does watch the videos and he does love his morning smoothies. In fact, he is pretty much 811 except for when he goes out of the house! lol
Great testimony about the awesomeness of fruit. My dad has diabetes so it was good to know that he can eat as much fruit as he wants. The only fruit I have heard giving diabetics a hard time was dates but I am not 100% sure about that.
But your right! People talk about how bad carbs are and don't take into account they are eating them fried in oil or goodness knows what!

I love Chris! He's amazing. I wished more people knew that fat is the issue for diabetes, not sugar! Everyone blames the sugar... but never the fat. Yes, he's eating waffles...covered in butter and sometimes whipped cream. Yes, she's eating fries.. fried in oil... there's always fat with those sugary/carby foods! Always! I have a friend who just will not believe that my blood sugar is normal (excellent even). She 'surprise' tests me at random. LOL. It's always perfect. She did this to me yesterday. I am on banana island. I ate roughly 26-30 bananas yesterday. She tested my blood sugar about 35 minutes after eating nine of them, it was 104. She could not believe it. I told her to follow me around all day to make sure I wasn't doing anything else but eating fruit. HAHA. :P
