That's a great idea Karen! Thanks - will do. It's so pretty and I'm sure it tastes good.

Why not take a double recipe of Veronica's spinach salad you got an email about yesterday? I'm making this for my Friday bunch after my 7 day transition to eating after my feast. They can hardly wait! Me too...LOL

Drink tons of water and bring some also. Do the smoothie - great idea!

Honestly I bring my own food and eat only my own food. I'm organic and sensitive to pesticides, etc., I don't take the chance of poluting my body. No offense intended.

We belong to a bookclub that meets once a month and always starts with a vegetarian potluck. This month it may be vegan as it is hosted by a "strict vegetarian". In fact the club leader wrote in her directions to the house that "strict vegetarian" means no fish dishes! Huh? Since when does fish qualify as vegetarian at all? Oh well - another subject.

Anyway we always bring a raw vegan dish of course, but we've usually opted for high fat dishes because we figured that would make them easier forthe group to enjoy.

But I've noticed only a few people have been adventurous enough to try our food so we might as well bring what we like!

I'm thinking a couple of dips, maybe cilantro, mango, dates plus celery and cukes to dip. Will have to check with Pete. He might have a different idea. Any ideas from you all are most welcome.

Also, this time, I'm thinking we should each have a 2 liter smoothie before we go. In the past we've only eaten what we've brought because the salads are always ruined with icky store bought dressings. And we've gone hungry. Another option might be for us to bring many dishes that we want to eat. Thoughts?
