Yup - it goes against all those low-carb folks but Paradise Health is in the carbs and the best way to get enough calories is from fruit! It's what we should be eating.
I think that most of us who have weight to lose get all messed up with the "eat less" pattern of diets. It's fine to stop when you're full, but get full! That's the whole thing, nobody is saying make yourself sick by eating too much, it's just important to eat enough - or we'll fall off the wagon.
For example, when I go out now, I always bring a bag of dates with me. That's what I do when I go for a walk, go to the grocery store, go to a friend's house or go to the movies. I bring my dates. I eat my dates. I'm not hungry and cravings don't get the better of me.
Every time that I forget my dates, I have a job reminding myself how much I prefer being raw! That's when that old diet mentality that I know so well sets back in. All the "I shouldn't", "oh but I want to" or "oh it won't hurt". Yeah. I know that internal fight.
Bring some dates - feel fine. Or whatever fruit you want to bring with you!
