Wow! Where did January go? Looks like we are going to have a nice day here in Ga. If it's not too windy this afternoon I hope to get outside and trim some of my bushes.
Haven't done too good on my exercise this past week so need to get back on track.

Been sneezing & coughing for a couple of days now. Still haven't felt like doing any real cardio but have been doing some weights. My neighbor took me to lunch Tuesday to celebrate my (Sunday) birthday and must admit I went overboard. I'll get back on track.
Hope all is going well with everyone else.

Today was a very rainy day here! I didn't get to exercise due to working during the day & church growth group meeting at night. I thought I might go to the gym afterwards, but ended up just coming home in the rain & cuddling up with a good book & a glass of wine.

Had thunderstorms this morning with tornado warnings. I like the rain but hate the severe storms. Slept in this morning which is very unusual for me. Guess my body is trying to tell me something. Just not going to push myself. Still haven't had much of an appetite.
Tomorrow I turn 68. Don't mind being a senior citizen. My neighbor called and wanted to take me to lunch but due to the football playoffs we are going on Monday. I'm the football fan.

Kytoca, good luck on selling your house. The market here in Georgia is terrible. We have had 5-6 neighbors in this sub-division just walk away from their homes. Another has had his house on the market for over 6 months. The asking price is half what he paid for it. I thank God I'm retired and decided when I bought this house it was going to be my last move.

I'm going to do my baet to get back on track next week.

Good morning Pat & Jan! Hope you have a great weekend!
Yesterday I didn't get a chance to exercise, but at least I ate pretty healthy.
Looks like it rained overnight here, but the sun is trying to come out now. I have 2 more house showings today (1 yesterday). I'm selling my house, which is very hard in this market. Wish me luck. I just need one good offer!

Hi guys. did a mile on the treadmill, and then 30 mins on elliptical.
Yesterday overdid it with weight training and situps. Not seeing it on the scale. sigh

bitter cold here, and a snow storm coming...

pooped.

I'm feeling better today. Still didn't feel like I had enough energy to workout. Hoping to get at least a couple of my Wii fit exercises in tomorrow.

Yesterday was a very good day. I feel like I'm becoming more active by making it a priority. I left my house at 10:30 am to go swimming, steam room, jacuzzi, salad lunch with one friend - great way to catch up on stories (better than phone call). Then later went to play basketball, workout, & dinner with another friend. We watched movies on tv & I didn't get home until 2am. Now caught up on sleep & ready to go again!

How is everyone today?

It's another sunny day here in LA! Proud of myself last night. After 1 hour of basketball, we went out for dinner. I had ahi tuna with lettuce, tomato, & onion on wheat and fruit. Completely found the willpower to turn down dessert, even though the other 2 people stopped in a French bakery on the way back to the car & bought sweets. Though everything looked great, I had plenty of those in Paris & kept telling myself not to do it! I won & stayed in my daily calorie range!

Here's to another great day! Protein shake & getting ready to go swimming at gym.

Good morning Pat!
Glad you are here with me. I'm tracking it too for the 2nd day. Now if I can just keep it going & establish a good habit.

Today I started with a blueberry banana protein shake for bfast. I'm taking another Lean Cuisine for lunch today (easy portion control until I get my act together for making lunch).

Hi Deb,
Thanks for stepping up to the leader job. I am 'up' 10 lbs, but about to make it a mission..

I exercise a lot... and eat reasonably well, but am going to start 'tracking' it. My daughter started on the New Year and has lost 10lbs already...

I had yogurt and all bran for b'fast. Then made a smoothie for lunch. will have a salad and some chicken for dinner...



where there is a will... there is a way

Hi everyone! I'm Deb from Los Angeles, & I just clicked to become the new team leader here!
Let's begin a new daily check in for 2012. It's a beautiful sunny Martin Luther King Day here. I've had my morning protein shake, my coffee, paid some bills online (uggh!), eaten a quick Lean Cuisine Panini lunch (I'll cook veggies for dinner), and now I'm ready to go out and see the world! Well, at least I'll go on a bike ride this afternoon.
