I did the first day of the couch to 5k. I walked/jogged 1.5 miles in 28 minutes and did a 60 minute belly dance workout.

I did the crazy person walk. I walked to Mae Stecker Park in Shelby Township (2.5 miles each way). I walked/jogged five miles in 55 minutes. I am training to do the 5K walk but I hope to get to running. emoticon

Way to go Lori!!!

I have been working 6 and 7 days a week but I still get my workout done before I go to work. Most days it's walk aerobics and pilates or strength training. I miss going to the park to walk!

I have been absent from the team but not my health goals. I am working on balance. It is important to get others involved in my goals and become more social. I have kind of lost touch with my friends and family since I had been working and going to school so much. I workout, work, school, workout, clean, sleep. This is not very balanced and can cause a burnout. With that being said, I logged 25 miles since the beginning of August, danced 240 minutes, did 100 minutes of strength, did 400 minutes of heavy cleaning, and did 200 minutes of yoga/pilates. Going forward, I am working on pushing myself out of my plateau, being more social, and developing balance......

Yesterday was a 3 mile jog and then strength training. I tried a new routine, Jillian Michaels Shred It With Weights and wow! I've got some sore muscles, particularly in my quads and hamstrings. It was a great workout though!

I walked at Ford Woods Park in Dearborn yesterday and today. Yesterday I walked 2.5 miles in 21 minutes, and 3.5 miles in 45 minutes today. I also did 15 minutes of belly dancing, 15 minutes of lower body strength today.

Nice to be back working out! I missed it. I think I may try Hines Park this weekend

Yesterday I walked, did strength training, and then I mowed the lawn. Our house is on a hill, so mowing the backyard is quite a workout!

Walked 2 miles outside and later headed to Planet Fitness to walk another 2 miles. Drank 10 cups of water. emoticon I hate water!

Unfortunately I am not able to work out at the moment. I had emergency surgery a week ago and have to wait for clearance from the surgeon. It's been tough because I've come so far in 11 months and I don't want to back-slide after all that work. I will get through this, I just have to be patient.

Yesterday was walking, walking, walking! I walked 9.1 miles with Shanon in the morning, 1 mile with my dog in the afternoon, then another 2.6 miles with Jan in the evening.

Today I am getting out on the bicycle. Not sure how far I will go, we will see.
