I did notice that I get a bit more irritated than before I started taking Phen, I was just hoping it wasn't the meds. I also feel a bit slower when it comes to understanding directions, or what someone is telling me. Hope everything will go back to normal soon. :)

It never made me moody - but it did make me dingy! So forgetful and dingy! I feel like I'm just now, 3 months post meds, getting my senses back. LOL

I am very very very moody! Can go from happy to emoticon in .02 seconds! I try to keep it under control and I think part of it is I am an emotional eater, so I have my "comfort" taken away. I also have a very very very very omg very dry mouth! I constantly have water or sugar free gum in my mouth. I also get alot more enegry on the phen which helps with those nights they kids dont sleep much.

I've noticed it makes me moody, things get on my nerves easier than when I'm not taking it.

I don't notice mood changes at all. But I hear ya with the cotton mouth. Yesterday at work I had to lick 56 envelopes for a mass mailing and I nearly died! LOL I kept hitting the water bottle to get through them all. :) And like others, I don't sleep well at night anyway. Since my hysterecomy last year, I roast when I'm sleeping and it wakes me up but I am able to fall back to sleep. I'm not really noticing any side effects at all other than I drink a lot more water which is a good thing.

Sometimes it feels like "medicine head" kinda like I took an antihistamine.

As far as sleeplessness, I didn't sleep well before I went on the phen. I try to go to bed around the same time every night. If I don't fall asleep by 12:00 I'll take some benedryl or tylenol pm. It usually helps, sometimes I'm groggy the next day though.

I haven't noticed mood effects. I just have major cotton mouth which accounts for bad breath! I chew sugarfree gum or have a mint at all times. I have to remember to eat while on Phen, small healthy snacks and it totally helps with portion control!
Good luck! emoticon

Anytime that's what the group is here for! Are you having any other side effects? I mainly just get very dry mouth now. And sometimes it keeps me awake all hours of the night. But I am working on getting on a strict schedule to help with that.

I'll just have to stick with it couple more weeks and see how it goes. The phen is definately doing its job and I'd like to stay on it awhile. Thanks BMORE.

That is one of the side effects of Phen. It doesn't seem to be so bad with me now. I think as time goes on my moods even back out.
