Thanks! Quit cold turkey, no program or nicotine replacement. I just made up my mind that I was done smoking. I made a list of ideas to curb cravings. First on the list was "run until lungs burn." I ran so much that I learned to love it. I run three miles every morning now, just to start my day. My longer runs are about eight miles. By the way, I couldn't run one whole mile on "day one" because of my smoker's lungs! It has been a difficult journey, but all good things don't come easy. I'm still tempted at times, but I'm learning to trust in my willpower. Good luck to everyone else still working on their quit. Its not easy, but it's worth it!!!
