I was going to say Abram Falls lol. I am a total waterfall nut. Chimney Tops is another good one with some great views, 4 miles roundtrip, moderate trail with most of the elevation gain at the end of the trail. Steep climb to the summit.

Had a blast in the Smokies. I would recommend the hike to Abrams Falls. Trail head is midway through the Cades Cove loop. It's about 5 miles round trip. The falls are beautiful. The hike is not difficult, however it is crowed. Not a hike if you're looking for solitude.
While it's not hiking related, I'll share anyway. My husband and I finally rented bikes and biked Cades Cove. Every Wed and Sat the Park Service keeps vehicles out until 10 am. We started at sunrise, boy was it beautiful. I'd highly recommend biking, or even walking the loop; a great experience.

I've never hiked the GSM, but a co-worker is from Tennessee and takes really good pics of the area when she goes for visits. I'd love to do it someday........but then again, I say that about A LOT of places that I'd like to hike someday!
