Sometimes, those short little hikes are exactly what you need to just re-energize you!

It was a nice day here too! We got out skiing, one last resort day before they close for the season, and we got a deal for free lift tickets.
We kept the poles out for future hiking trips, we'll hopefully get back into that soon!
Hope you avoided the poison oak, I got a small lesion on my ankle after a mountain bike ride a few weeks ago thru trails that were surrounded by the stuff!

just did a 2-mile hike in the mcdonald/dunn forest outside corvallis. finally had some good weather to get out in. finished up the yard this morn and went for a walk. wife has new boots, she isn't sure about them yet so we are trying some shorter hikes to get them broke in or give up on them. hike was up and down a little and we had some nice views of the valley. poison oak is getting started up so probably won't go here until late next fall. dogs had a blast.
