I enjoy bouncy type stuff and just added Toy Box to my music (similar sound to Aqua). There are several songs with quick beats and the lyrics tend to be quirky.

Do you believe in miracles? You should. Look around you and you''ll find a lot of them. Better yet, look in the mirror - be your own miracle.

Smile - it uses less muscles than frowning, and you''ll feel happier.

I listen to a ton of Outkast, Kanye West, Tool and LinkinPark when I work out. I get crazy hyped up and start running like Rocky

Well, I don't know about you, but listening to a little bit of Gwen Stefani gets me ready to do almost everything at the gym :)! Especially "Hollaback Girl." I always feel pumped and so much tougher after listening to that.

In no particular order, here's my favorite work out play list:

"Hollaback Girl," Gwen Stefani
"What You Waiting For?" Gwen Stefani
"Remember the Name," Fort Minor ft. Styles O
"Wonderful Night," Fatboy Slim ft. Lateef
"Dance, Dance," Fall Out Boy
"Little of Your Time," Maroon 5
"Crash," Gwen Stefani
"The Geeks Get the Girls," American Hi-Fi
"Let's Get it Started," Black-Eyed Peas
"Supermassive Blackhole," Muse
"Headstrong," Trapt

Hope this list was helpful :)!

I agree, when I want to get motivated I use dance/techno/country/rock as long as it has a fast beat, usually something that I can dance to. Cotton eye Joe is usually a starting point for me!

I wish I had my iPod in here with me (it's in my car), but once I get it I will give you tons of examples. I tend to listen to a lot of my husbands angry music... I call it angry, but it's like Nickelback and Disturbed, etc... Right now, two of my favorite songs to listen to when I'm working out are Womanizer by Brittany Spears (and I don't like her, but I love that song)... and I Kissed a Girl by Katty Perry... very upbeat. Bleed It Out by Linkin Park is my all time favorite song to listen to when running. I accidently found it on my husbands iPod one day when I went for a run and it really helps me keep the tempo up. I'll be sure to post more once I grab my iPod.

I really like to listen to pandora.com. I workout at my house so I can just program any type of radio station and listen to it. You should try it!

I like rock music when I am working out because it has a great beat and it gets me moving. I also like dance music because of the upbeats in it.

Hi everyone.

I'm Melissa. I'm new here. I'm syncing my ipod and on itunes looking for music to work out too. Can anyone suggest songs? It doesn't matter what kind of music I have everything from Beach Boys to Evanescenes on my ipod. I'm looking for some songs that will keep me going on the treadmills and elliptical as well as lift weights too. Any and all suggestions welcomed and appreciated!

Thank you!
