I've been having trouble with motivation, but I also know it may be due to watching some sad stuff on Netflix. So maybe I need to balance the sad with the happy better. I mean, I was watching things about the Holocaust. And that's good, everyone should remember, but maybe it shouldn't come in the way of workouts or going shopping or interacting with people. Anyway, on Valentine's Day I just felt bad about things and just went to bed in the afternoon and didn't get up until the next day. I missed my workout, and lost my fitness streak that I had going for 13 days. And the next day, yesterday, I didn't feel like working out either. Even after I saw the scale move! Oh, well.Today is a new day.

Good Morning, or what's left of it. Hope you're having a good day.
I just called to pre-register Bob for Blood work in the morning for 2 doctor's. Luckily it only takes one needle to do it all as he's needle phobic. Hoping the lab work doesn't show he's having new issues. I'm afraid his sugar could be up. He's a borderline diabetic and take Metformin for that, but they may want to increase his dosage if it's an issue and he won't be happy with that. But we'll see what the lab work shows.

Must be why I have been shacking-a-leg and moving more.

I have been watching my sugar intake and no white rice, potatoes, flour. this has cut out high-calorie, unhealthy stuff.

For one week, I have gotten my 10K steps in, that's about 4 extra miles during my daily routine. Half the days I have been dancing to 70's and 80's music. (4 songs = 1,500 steps)

Hey, Karen! So glad to see you here. =)

I was able to clean my downstairs closet. I was surprised at all there was to do. I had been using it as a storage area for just anything, so no wonder. It's about under wraps, I just need to finish going through this pile of papers that needs dealt with. You know, it's not good to just move it on to another area. I thought my ID card was in the hall closet, so that's why I started there. Next, I'll be tackling my bedroom. Maybe it's in there.

Enjoying the spring weather? It's been warm and sunny here the past two days, so we really are thoroughly enjoying it. Going on walks is more fun!

P.S. My cold is gone!

Hey, how are you? I've been having a difficult time lately, still. Things aren't predictable enough. That's a huge problem that I'm dealing with. I was able to get some cleaning done last month, but not very much, because I was sick with a cold the whole time. I can't get rid of this cold.

I started a new thread for challenges! It's a weekly one, I think that you'll like it. Except, instead of people taking dares, like in your other group, it's for challenges that you want to do. You challenge yourself. Those are the best challenges anyway, because you're less likely to injure yourself or fail miserably. And you can learn about yourself that way, more than you could if you just did what someone said.

I'm coming back in April. It's going to be really hard, not checking in on things more and playing facebook games. I really like the internet, but I've let it get out of hand lately. I need to find my ID card, and get into the doctor. I have to do this, because I have asthma, and I've been away from my medicine too long. I'm going to be spending only an hour a day, either watching television or playing PC games on the computer. The government says we need to limit our children to one hour a day of "screen time", so I thought I would try that, even though I'm not a kid. It's going to be a little boring for me, but I have a big project to do. I have to do a lot of cleaning and organizing. I may even buy some cardboard boxes at IKEA to help me out, when I'm a little farther along. First you're supposed to give some things away. Yesterday, I was able to throw out a bag full of recycling. That was really nice. I know it's really extreme to be gone an entire month. It's just because of how serious the missing ID card is, and how I need to go to the doctor. Otherwise, I don't think I would be doing this, not for that long. I really will miss everyone. I hope that you will be here when I get back, and we can continue our friendship. That's what is so wonderful about SP, all the people you can meet here and be friends with. It wouldn't be the same if this site just had the nutrition and exercise trackers and some articles. Having people that you can talk with is so cool. Well, if you do decide to take a break from the internet, I hope that it's only for a month, and you will be back in April too. I would really miss you if you left! Thank you for being a good friend too.
