Went swimming and then did a double yoga class, the second class had very few people and the instructor said I could stay for free, so I did. It was hard but felt great. emoticon emoticon emoticon

I walked up and down Doomsday Hill and then this neat cemetary for like an hour looking at all the headstones, super interesting!I also did some stair climbing and am going to lift some weights while watching a little tv later. Yay!

Our greatest glory is not in never falling but in rising every time we fall.

Hi Judy, I took Sasha out on her leash this weekend and she walked a little while and then dug in and looked miserable. She's a funny creature - when she hears music coming from my computer, she gets all excited because she knows I'll ask her if she wants to dance LOL. I pick her up and off we go for a few minutes. At least one of us gets a little exercise.

I know what you mean about other dogs. The baby stroller is a neat idea. Mine is a 70 pound basset so probably won't work with him but it would be nice since he is always sniffing the ground. Today we took a 3 mile walk and I did a 15 minute kettle bell video. I loved the kettlebell but I bet I will be sore tomorrow.

Hi Judy, glad you have a good walking partner. My dog loves to go for walks but only if I carry her. I used to take her out in a baby stroller but I'm a little worried about a few new dogs in the neighborhood.

Hi Everybody, got on the exercise bike and rode for 30 minutes. I have to do something about the seat because it hurts MY seat. I know there are gel cushions available, but I think it's harder to fit the seat of an exercise bike. Any suggestions?

Hi Judy,
I like the bike a lot and have used it for several years. The only drawback to the bike is having my chihuahua hitch a ride for at least 5 minutes each time I use it. She weighs 5.5 lbs and I give myself extra credit for her weight LOL.
The gazelle is good too. I'm sure your treadmill gives the best workout, but whatever keeps us moving is what counts.

Hi Marilyn-
The treadmill can really work you hard, especially if you use the incline. I tried an elliptical once or twice at a gym but really couldn't keep up a pace without getting winded and fatigued. I kind of go with my mood. If I have energy, I try to work harder. If not, I'm just glad I exercised. I think I want an exercise bike next just to keep things interesting. How do you like yours?

Hi Judy, 50 minutes on the treadmill must burn up a bunch of calories. I finally gave my treadmill to my daughter to make room for an elliptical. I also have an exercise bike and gazelle and they're all great when I use them. The elliptical is difficult for me so I haven't used it lately, but I really plan to give it another try - one of these days.

I went to a hip hop dance class today. I'd never done it before and it totally kicked my butt, but it was definitely more interesting for me than 45 minutes on an elliptical
