The new endo I saw told me that my numbers are fine. Went down from 4.2 to 1 just by increeasing the 75 to 100 mg. I had so much to ask him but I just went black. Wanted to ask about Cytomel. Anyway, the ultrasound showed a nodule on the left side of the thyroid, but he said it is very small and nothing to worry about.I see him again in 3 months time. What else do you know about Sjorgens Mzz? One of my other Spark friends is having a bad time with this autoimmune disease. She is having another flare up and not coping too well. Is there a site to find out information? Thanks for your advice.
GERD is associated with thyroid disease. If your esophagus becomes irritated, swallowing will be painful.
Sjorgens dries up saliva, compromises mucous membranes thus makes swallowing difficult... amongst other things. Its another autoimmune disease. When you go to our dentist they generally note if your saliva flow is adequate while they are performing dental procedures.
I'd check those two out before going to an allergist.

New decade. Big world. Hello, 60!
Never underestimate the value of getting out of your own way.
I am having trouble swallowing again. I have already had the half thyroid removed due to multi nodular goiter 14 years ago. Had an ultrasound on Tuesday and go for the results on Saturday. I'm so over all this.
If you do have an allergist, I would go see him. It's better to rule out a condition instead of living with it and wondering...

My last ultrasounds came out clean, I have 2 small nodules that do not warrant anything invasive, according to my doctor, besides all this, I've had some issues swallowing. He says that I may have developed a new allergy and that I should make an appointment with my allergist. Any thoughts?
