The main thing is to be consistent but always best early before meds1

In the morning before you take your Meds.

TSH does not tell the whole story.

Need free t3, total t3 and free t4 tested also. Along with numerous others. :)

Hi, I am new to this group. I have an appointment coming up for labwork of TSH levels. I don't have a thyroid anymore, large goiter was removed as result of Hasimotos thyroid. Last time I was checked, my levels were quite high, 3.8, so my doctor upped my dose of synthroid to 175. Was wondering if I take my synthroid pill first thing in the morning, should I eat half hour later and go get tested...fast...go before I take my pill? The physician assistant said do my normal routine, but I know levels fluctuate and want to make sure my levels are not that high again as I know they can impede weight loss.
