The sun gives little shadow when it is noon at this time of year. In the winter it is south of us so the northern part of my house is in shadow and in the summer it is north so the southern side is in shadow. Makes it hard to protect those plants than need shade.

Spring is my favorite season as well, its a tremendous season of renewal as the days grow longer.

For those interested in the heavens, about 45-hour after sunset, you'll see Venus and Jupiter quite close to one another over then next few days in the Western sky. Venus is the brighter of the two, and to the right. Venus is also known as the Morning or Evening Star, due to its appearance at these times, at various times of the year.

Nix the moniker you've chosen for yourself is the name of the ancient Greeks' Goddess of Night... the mother of Hypnos(sleep) and Thanatos(death).

Happy Almost Spring!! This coming Tuesday marks the Spring Equinox and in preparation for the first day of the new season I would like to wish you a brand new start, never-ending moments of poise and balance and a joyful tip over on the scale to the side of light.
