good luck Kimmie with all those races.................................. and enjoy being the blogger.

So much fun,

Im the same way about the scale............. I do weight daily - but as long as that scale is not moving up too much -------- im not overly concerned. I would be happier to lose inches at this point........... and blubber.

Im eating better ------------- just cooked up a spaghetti squash which will last me almost a week for dinners that will be low carb and low calorie. I can do so much with one squash.... healthy recipes and Ive gotten to like it alot.

the end of Feb................................. and now on to March everyone emoticon

still hovering around the same weight, not worrying about it anymore, if I keep on truckin it will eventually start to move again!
Not much running this week, lots of errands and obligations, but this weekend I have my 2 races, and my race calendar is slowly filling up, so I am excited about that! I was chosen to be a race blogger for Pretty Muddy Mud Runs, but I have to drive to Ohio in September to do it, since they don't come any closer yet! Still very excited! I am also race blogging for the Biggest Loser Run Walk Series, for their Erie, PA Half. Woot!

i have not cheated one morsel of dessert. So proud of myself. No action lately on the scale but its not going up either so thats a good thing.............

have been power walking 3 miles per day....burns about 214 calories for me. Feels good too.
Wont do it today in the rain but will find a youtube video to work out too. Really need to start with the kettlebell. Want to give it a true one month trial. Should do it now while I am behaving with eating for lent.

Hi!

Been angelic the last two weeks with the diet and exercise until Friday night...I went to my regular kickboxing class then dove head first into the world of fried food and didn't emerged until today! I'm going through a lot of personal stress (work and home) and I know that contributed to my journey to my food happy place! I have work today from 2-6 giving massages so at least I'll be getting in some activity thi afternoon but i know that it's going to be tempting to pick something hot and quick to eat afterwards because I'm going to be exhausted.

Not a great week, workout wise, I did a Boot Camp on Monday that had me sore all week, and I ran almost 6 miles yesterday. I have a Half Marathon in Lincroft this weekend as well as a 2 mile fun run in Manasquan. Should be a fun weekend!
Today, the teenie and I are seeing a play at the Papermill.

Im finally - finally on the right path. I know its going to take awhile for my body to realize Im doing things right.................... now for the scale to drop.

Im shooting for that 130 mark by end March. I can do this. emoticon

my eating has still been terrible, but I ran a Virtual Half Marathon on Saturday, the last 3 miles were run in the snow!

Help ! This is my first week I gained a pound ! Ugh. I just cant lose. I have been trying on my own since Jan. and have only lost 3 pounds. Now i keep gaining and losing the same pound! I am staying in my calorie range and exercising about 4 days a week. emoticon

Trying to get healthy one pound at a time!

My eating has been awful all week! I did get in a 3.4 mile interval run yesterday! I was going to run today, but I have a ton of laundry PLUS medals to mail out for my virtual half marathon. (Today it broke the $1000 raised mark, woohoo) so the run must wait! I wasn't scheduled for one, just thought it was a nice day for it!

Ate well yesterday.................... since Ive given up all sweets for Lent - my mind has shut off needing that bed time snack and I dont even think about snacks during the day. Now why is that? My eating had gotten really poor.............................. and all i had to do was make my mind up to give up junk for lent and so far so good. I do it every year without one cheat.............. but as soon as lent is over I revert back to not so good habits.

i always look at Lent ( starting this week) as a time to give something up for 6 weeks and maybe make a new habit. Just like the last 2 years - Im giving up any kind of sweets -desserts. I did it 100% last year and know I can do it again.
\Should help curb my night time snacks ------- and between that and signing up for 2 long bike tours - Im hoping the inspiration comes................ Divine intervention cant hurt right?

I agree with the messages not to weigh in everday...it is obsessive behavior.....for many that is one of our eating problems. I am trying not to attach too much to the scale....mine always says the same so I guess I should be grateful for that. Goal today is to wear weights on my ankles and wrists to see if they can budge the scale a little...(too obsessive?). haha

I weigh in every day, but I only count one day a week as an official weigh in. It doesn't hurt to know when your weight fluctuates, and I don't let one bad weigh in wreck my whole week. I don't condone daily weigh ins, though, they really can mess with your head. When I was on WW over 13 years ago, I only weighed in at meetings, and I was probably a happier person, lol.

comet60 i work 12 hours shifts so i always have to make sure i have something to keep me going throughout the day. so far the muffins are done and delicious emoticon and the soup is about halfway done...the house smells good thats for sure :)

Just saw your post..

Just as a side note (hopefully helpful), you really shouldn't weigh on your scale every day. Water weight alone can fluxuate your weight by 2-6 pounds on a daily basis!!! Pick a constant date and time weekly.. Say saturday in the morning.. and weigh in then. Best wishes,

started my day off right with a session at the gym then came home to get cooking for the week i have ahead. dinner tonight is homemade gravy and turkey meatballs (family recipe) with pasta. then cooking for the week includes broccoli cheese soup, chicken and cheese quesdaillas, turkey meatloaf with potato wedges and carrots. and i already cut up/washed and bagged up my fruits and veggies for the week too. i hope i can keep up with motivation! just started reading the spark book hoping to really get things moving along for myself. i just keep thinking about the end result...happy, healthy and looking fabulous in my strapless wedding dress. emoticon

I over did it on the ice cream last night, I'm thinking it is boredom from being alone all the time. I weigh myself everyday, and the scale didn't move from yesterday, so that's good. But, I am up at least 4lbs since the Daniel Fast my church was on ended 1/27.

I had said, I was going to continue with it to degree, but of course, I haven't. emoticon I'm realizing sometimes, I get an 'I just don't care' attitude, and that was one last night.

Oh, Well. Tis life. Thank you Jesus, for a New Day! Off to Worship Service. Nice and sunny out. emoticon

my scale is stuck--- but those chocolate covered pretzels that I found in the cabinet are some of the problem.

Snow started really coming down about midnight. Ended up with about 6". Went out this morning at about 8:45 to clean off and move my car, so our maintenance dept could plow the street clean. Then went to the supermarket to pick up a few things.

Roads were deserted. Store was deserted. Nice! I am now back home. Going to exercise, then tackle my cleaning project for the day. I am sooo glad that is all done.

I'm working in Ocean county near Great Adventure, right now it is only raining. Praying the snow holds off until I get home, at least till I get in town.

Its is quite nice out today Ive been swimming due to my foot but finally been able to walk on the treadmill again. I love Leslie Sansone Walk away the pounds that is how I got walking inside ha ha!! just bought coach Nicole DVD.
