wooooo I went to a workshop called Sex & Yoga! It was mostly about chakras and breathing.

It feels so good to be exercising regularly again! I hope I can keep it up because it's awesome. I feel energized and I sleep soundly!

Hey! I like streaks too! I miss the days when I was more committed to working out. Frebruary sounds good for a 28-day 20 min/day challenge! At minimum I can do a power walk on my lunch break.

Streaks are awesome. I had a 40 week streak of 90 minutes/week before the holidays which Im pretty proud of. My 1 goals I have decided for this year is to increase my fitness minutes. Last year I had around 7500 fitness minutes and this year Im aiming for 10,000 minutes. I dont normally measure by the mile but a minute goal I could do.

I'm thinking with February being a short month (but longer than usual this year) maybe we could do some kind of 28 day challenge. Like seeing if we can do a 28 day exercise streak, where we get in at least 20 minutes of exercise a day? (I've just been reading the Stage one material, given that I'm starting again from scratch, and they talk there about the motivating properties of streaking).

I currently (sporadically) do a weights programme, cardio, and am getting back into pilates.

What's Nia?

Let's do it! Suggestions? Eeps I still didn't look up the smart phone app.

So....let's do a challenge that's fair but also flexible if we do different kinds of exercise. I do yoga, walking, belly dance and Nia.

The 100 mile (I do 160 km) challenges have happened a few times over on G*.

I'm still trying to put name to G* face for you. I guess I should go through and read the intro threads :-)

Oh cool, I don't know about endomondo but I'll check it out after work. 100 miles (or kilometres!) would be fun too! Was that here on SP, or on G?

It's been a while since there was last a 100 miles challenge... I'm using endomondo as well now on my phone, which makes the tracking really easy - and you can challenge friends too over there and it seems to track the whole challenge team too.
I've been doing a lot of lower body work as injury rehab, and I was thinking it was time to to the 100 push ups again - that's a really satisfying one.
