I am with you. I do a few groceries pretty much every other day so I only have to buy a few, only what I will definitely use, so I don't have a bunch going bad. And even that doesn't always work out for me :(

I've teamed up with my office mates to buy fruits and veggies - we'll each take turns, and then you have more people to help you eat them .This way you get a lot more variety, at a lower cost, and its a fun way to bond with coworkers in a healthy way. I definitely recommend it.

I buy bunches of bananas and freeze them when they start to turn brown, so I've always got bananas in the freezer ready for smoothes.
I also immediately freeze 1/2 of any quantity of berries I buy, so I will always have them ready frozen for smoothies or snacking.

I have the same problem! (Even though I live with my fiancee, he doesn't eat many veggies!) So I googled it and found this article...actually from sparkpeople haha. Hope it helps! :)
