The important thing to remember is that carbohydrates are your body's form of energy. Your body needs carbs to live, and they are you body's best source to store energy for later use (fat).
Carbs are good for you!, if you don't eat any carbs you will be too weak to do anything.
Losing weight is about operating at a caloric deficit (in-taking slightly fewer calories than your body needs) over a long period of time.
But managing carbohydrates can certainly help.
For starters, try to eat higher portions of carbs before and after workouts, and less carb as the day goes on. I found that eating less carbs later in the evening as I became less active really helped me out.
Does everyone agree with this article after Phase 1? Is it that dangerous to stay on Phase 1 for about 4 weeks? Is that too much to be adding back for Phase 2? Thanks for the input.
